Switzerland Tours in September 2027

It really lets you see and experience the countryside ! Takes you places , you might not have known were there . No just a tour of cities and churches - but outside the box things to see!

Our guide, Eric, was excellent. Our group was diverse, friendly & fun. We saw a lot and did a lot! Switzerland had been on our bucket list a long time and we loved it! We do feel strongly that Trafalgar should better describe the excursions & what's involved. There was a LOT of walking and there were LOTS of steps, many without handrails! This would help people sign up for appropriate excursions. It's frustrating to sign up & pay for an excursion and not be able to do it after you get there. Be prepared for EARLY morning starts!

Great itinerary! However, I would have rather had a longer boat ride on Lake Geneva and/or more free time in Montreux. The Chaplin tour and short boat ride was disappointing. The Swiss dinner in Zermatt was lower quality and overpriced compared to other dinners on the tour. Enjoyed the rest of the tour. was a superb tour director. Very knowledgeable, managed the schedule in consideration of weather and crowd control.

The Country Roads of Switzerland tour was absolutely unforgettable! Switzerland’s beauty is beyond words, and this incredible itinerary struck the perfect balance between exploring charming country roads and experiencing iconic cities. Every stop felt magical, every view more breathtaking than the last. I can’t recommend this tour highly enough!

Great locations and hotels with a relaxed pace and amazing sites! Our tour guide Matt was amazing! Very knowledgeable, friendly and approachable . A great story teller.

This trip is the perfect balance of a short break that feels like you have been away for a month, in a good way. You are completely at one with nature and in the wild, the days are demanding and you are often leaving at 0730 each day and not getting back until around 1630/1700. You have a long time on your feet with big ascents and descents, all whilst surrounded by incredible mountains. I went the first week of September and we had a mixture of weather, which really gave us the full hiking experience, instead of being upset that it was raining with zero visibility, you were happy to be out in the elemensta and conquering cols. You will have switchbacks for breakfast and sore legs for dinner, however, if you are up for a challenge and enjoy the outdoors, good food and comradery then this trip is absolutely for you! 1 peiece of advise, pack light, and then if you think you have packed light enough, pack even lighter than that!
