The itinerary covered many sites I was interested in seeing. There were several locations, had we traveled on our own, we would not have seen or realized what we were seeing without the travel director's expertise. Activities were varied and for nearly every physical ability. Not only did we see the "must see's" such as Schonbrunn Palace in Vienna and Neuschwanstein Castle, we took train rides over the Bernina Pass, the Glacier Express, and the funicular railway and cable car to the summit of the Stanserhorn. We saw downhill ski jumping at an Olympic stadium in Innsbruck. We toured Hitler's Eagle's Nest and Dachau Concentration Camp.

Except for the Optional Experience of the Rail Journey over Berlin's Pass, the itinerary was fantastic! This is a trip of a lifetime and the hotels, the guides, the food and and our leader were all top quality! I hated to leave.

This was a great way to see become acquainted with the Swiss Alps. Great guide ensured that we all managed the trip safely and a lovely group to share the experience. A challenging trek but very worthwhile.

Strasbourg to Basil. What a hidden gem the Alsace region is. Loved the whole trip. Even though reasonably fit , would recommend electric bikes for the few hills and because the weather was hot. Lost connection on app a few times but maybe because we had older phones. Also ran out of power on phone before the end of the days trip. Provided with a map on paper. Did get lost a few times but were able to self correct. But what wasn’t there to love. Cycling through medieval villages ,endless vineyards, next to canals and stunning countryside. Enjoying the traditional cuisine, high quality wines and the culture which seems to be unique, even within France. Accommodation pleasant, a few had no air conditioning which was only a problem when temperatures high. Would definitely do another cycling trip, although it would be hard to match the fun we had on this one!

We had a fantastic trip! The hikes were thoughtfully devised to maximize scenic views and quaint villages along the way. There were multiple options to shorten hikes by jumping on a bus, train, tram or gondola and with the maps and written guides traveling in these region is fairly easy to do. The hotels were clean but a few folks in our group had some issues (tiny rooms and bathrooms, funky smells, windows that didn't open and no views) and regretted not paying for the hotel upgrade. My wife and I were pleased with our rooms and also didn't spend much time in them!

Good organisation. The guide, Elie, translated everything in English for me as I was the only non-French in the group. He also prepared delicious meals everyday. Walking pace was good for all the group. Night stays had everything essential and the dinner and breakfasts were also good. Overall, a truly "rustique" adventure in the Swiss Alps, in contact with nature and the mountain.
