In April, it is not a cold as we thought that it would be, coming from Canada. So bring short sleeved shirts. Of course you need warmer clothing for going to the top of the mountains. The food is great! Spend the extra money and do all the excursions, you won’t regret it. The Charlie Chaplin excursion was fantastic and so was the supper/ Swiss Band in Lucern.

The process from finding the tour we wanted to take to getting set up for the tour was an easy process. The other reviews we saw gave us the security of using their website to book our trip. The only item we missed which would have given a 5* was the trip did not include see the Alps up close or a train trip. Well maybe next time there may be one and we would definitely take that trip.

day 1Welcome to Lucerne
Welcome to Switzerland, a land of snow-capped summits and romantic lakes that has attracted poets, musicians and travelers for centuries. Arrive into Zrich airport and transfer to your hotel in Lucerne. Meet your Travel Director and travel companions for a pleasant dinner at a local restaurant.
My extra hotel room before the tour cost AUD1,000.00? but slept in a basic room worth AUD$547.00!!!! (Astoria Hotel). I expect a refund or at least a AUD$500 voucher to use on my next Insight tour, otherwise i may never use Insight again.
Too many extras not included in the tour. The horse and carriage to the farm should have been included. Also Charlie Chaplin house should have been included without paying extra.
Not enough dinners included in the tour that cost me $AUD15,500.00 plus extras. The two 'dinner' on the dairy farm and wineyard were cold 'snacks', not dinners.
I am on several social retired business groups and marketing is my speciality. My recommendations for Insight could be useful for more business or detrimental. This is a very competitive business and I would
appreciate you kindly attend to my request for a refund voucher if possible.
Thank you in anticipation
