For those drawn to epic journeys, the Portuguese Camino – Porto to Santiago walking tour is the classic pilgrimage experience. Spanning 14 days and covering both Portugal and Spain, this self-guided trip is crafted for experienced travelers seeking moderate physical activity and profound cultural connection.
Begin in Porto, the vibrant city famed for its river and port wine, and follow the Camino trail north through forested paths, ancient bridges, and bustling market towns. Each day brings you closer to Santiago de Compostela’s cathedral, passing through historic Tui and the final 100km of Galicia—qualifying you for the Compostela certificate. Along the way, reminders of past pilgrims and spiritual traditions enrich the journey, while panoramic views and medieval architecture provide visual rewards.
The distinguishing feature of this tour package is its immersive, comprehensive approach to the Camino Portugués, offering a rare opportunity to walk the entire inland route with all logistics—accommodation, meals, and transport—expertly arranged.
For those seeking a pilgrimage that blends history, faith, and scenic beauty, this walking tour stands as an inspiring and memorable adventure.
We had an amazing time on our Portuguese Camino, the accommodation was good and luggage transfer seamless with no issues at all.
Our trip was very well organised and everything went as planned. The accommodation was varied, but overall we were very pleased.
They supported our Camiño journey by providing excellent accommodation and meals, prompt pickup of luggage along with friendly and hospitable support crew from start to finish. You’ve done it again!
Our trip was amazing accommodation was fantastic, thank uou!
Wow, what a great experience! Thanks to the team, we were well prepared, knowing what we needed to pack, where we were staying & how we needed to prepare ourselves for the walk! And it didn't disappoint. The accommodation was excellent, varied and in all cases a pleasant surprise after a strenuous day on the route. There was nothing more welcoming than arriving at the planned stay for the night, to find your luggage greeting you in the foyer. More so, any query was just a phone call away!
An experience of a lifetime made all that better with good organisation and wonderful friendships established along the way.
Awesome experience for all ages that have suitable fitness. Both challenging and rewarding. Would encourage all to use the Camino walk as a focus to get fitter.
The Portuguese Camino was an excellent, well organised trek. Accommodation was ideal and distances made time to see sites.
A well organised camino.
My Porto to Santiago Camiño was everything I hoped for, and then some. Thanks to the company, my trip went smoothly and all I needed to focus on was walking. The variety of accommodations was excellent and the luggage transfer service was seamless. I'm looking forward to booking my next adventure with them.
I enjoyed hospitality better in Portugal, places we stayed were very comfortable, professional service, good food.
In general the trip was very enjoyable!
This is the experience of a lifetime. Walking the Camino was life-changing. Not having to worry about our luggage or lodging or meals allowed us to be immersed in the experience and not the details. Carefully curated lodging, pre-trip checklists, tips, and travel guidelines. It was just OUTSTANDING from beginning to end. THANK YOU!
Great trip and almost went to plan - 2 hiccups were sorted by the local agent.
The trip was very well planned, with comfortable and at times exceedingly beautiful places to stay with helpful staff at each location. I only wish I had the time to have walked a longer Camino. Walking this one with the organisation allowed me to be present in each moment and not fretting over accommodation.
