Our group of 5 was satisfied that the 8-day itinerary captured the highlights of the Tour du Mt Blanc. The first day from Chamonix to Le Tour was relatively easy and a nice introduction to the walk. The remaining days were harder and longer, as expected, with spectacular views. The hotels were in good locations with friendly staff. Dinners and breakfasts were adequate, and lunches could be bought from reception. Our group mostly stayed in 3-bunk rooms. Some hotels had no soap in the bathrooms and no toilet seats, which was disappointing. The overnight luggage transfers worked well. The navigation app was generally accurate, but parts of the route were out of date (e.g. Le Tour to Trient, Courmayeur to Rifugio Elisabetta) and should be updated. Our overall rating is 7/10.
Really stunning scenery and met wonderful people along the way.
We had an unbelievable trip, we loved the way that it was planned for us and we really made the most of everything. We really had a trip of a lifetime to remember. Our contact points were always very lovely and super quick to respond, great communication. The only downside was that there were a few attentions to details that would have made things perfect.
Loved the trip, going clockwise was a bonus, l felt the ups were not as severe. Also enjoyed having some quite time on the trail to ourselves, rather than moving with the crowd. Our accommodation and food was fantastic got a good taste of every country we travelled through. Had a bit of a hiccup with refuges and had to travel back and forth a bit the first couple of days, which meant we had to travel a bit more by bus and train than we would have liked. Overall l loved the 8 days and made memories for life.
