Loved everything about our trip. Great hotels and bikes. The route was well planned, hardly any main roads.
Bikes were excellent in as new condition and the GUIBO map system was very easy to navigate.
The ride through Provence was absolutely fantastic, great route mainly off main roads, scenic, beautiful little villages, great hotels. Wonderful experience!
An amazing experience! Very well organised, everything put down to the smallest detail, a back up team ready and available to answer all our questions and provide info and answers all the way from pre-booking until during the trip. Great choice of small, family run hotels in all towns. Very easy to book the trip, all information shared was exact and that made us feel comfortable and safe. It was a trip i did with my best friend and it is a trip we will never forget. We will choose them again! Thank you very much for the wonderful experience we had!
Well organised. Great bikes, we chose the electric option. Glad we did as heat wave. Also problem as our phones overheated when using the GPS map app.
The trip was wonderful. The application was incredibly informative and detailed, leaving no doubt about what we would encounter along the way. Our belongings were waiting for us at the hotel each day, and they were never delayed. The hotels were very clean, with exceptionally courteous staff. The bicycles were in good condition. It was a beautiful experience that I look forward to repeating
Towns and terrain covered were wonderful. Special mention for Uzes which is beautifully preserved and seemingly not well known to Australians.
This was my second Self-Guided bike trip and, in most respects, I was quite satisfied. However, we did have issues with a number of important aspects of the trip, namely the bikes, the self-guide app and the accommodation.
Incredible ride around Provence, wonderful hotels, nice pace to the ride.
This was our third trip with them and it was fabulous! The cities and route were all amazing! We took the upgrade in accommodation and all of the places were 4 plus star! The bikes were brand new with great features. The only downside was the app that was used was not great as it had a lot of errors in directions and did not have any way to navigate back to the route. We had a different app when in Puglia that was far superior! All in all we loved everything and will definitely give a raving reviews for others to do the trip with them.
We very much enjoyed our Highlights of Provence by Bike self guided bike tour. The Guibo app was pretty good to use. Our bikes & equipment supplied (panniers, tool kit, hi viz vest & handlebar phone holder) were all very good. The company was easy to contact when required. Our luggage was transported safely. We appreciated greatly being able to extend our trip by choosing to stop overnight at Les Baux, which was a highlight of our trip.
The countryside and architecture were beautiful , the villages were lovely places to stop and take in the lifestyle of the locals.
What a wonderful experience! Great route, beautiful scenery, excellent quality hotels and friendly helpful hoteliers - highly recommend. We had a blast and are looking forward to more cycling trips.
Absolutely amazing trip - just incredible. Our second trip of a lifetime.
We were a party of 3 self-guided - 2 normal bikes/1 e-bike. Starting late May. Weather perfect and a lovely time of year with wildflowers along the roadsides. Route was fascinating and varied with vineyards, agriculture, villages, mountains and more. Who knew the Romans built so many edifices, roads, and towns that still survive today in this area? So much to see. We had added an extra day for each town and were so glad we did. Hotels all acceptable, with one glitch re booking in Nimes. Taxi service for luggage worked perfectly. A small thing, and really the only gripe - the Guibo app navigation was a bit dodgy at times and we would have preferred additional backup resources to support the route. 100% reliant on good phone reception and working data. It was a memorable trip with great weather, friendly people, gorgeous food and wine and amazing history to explore.
We had a great holiday cycling in Provence and the ebikes were excellent. Most of the hotels were really nice with a very good breakfast and located close to the town centre. There was so much to do and see that we didn’t have enough time for everything. The only day we would have changed was the day cycling in the Camargue area which wasn’t anything special. We saw a few flamingos in the distance but with hindsight I wish we’d stayed in Arles to have a better look at some of the amazing Roman buildings. A whole day in Nîmes would have been worthwhile too. One wet day only, but be sure to pack something waterproof. The app for the route guidance didn’t work very well in narrow lanes in city centres but it was fine in more open spaces. In mid-May the temperatures were very pleasant and there were flowers everywhere in the lush, green countryside. Certainly a holiday we won’t forget.
We had a lovely time, really enjoyed the beautiful scenery and quiet roads. The bikes were excellent, the itinerary was well thought out.
A perfect bike away trip for us as the service was great and so was the weather.
Excellent guidance via the downloaded gps/ map. The two of us were totally on our own each day, but had no trouble following the route accurately. Beautiful countryside! And all cities visited were very interesting for individual reasons. Our luggage was always correctly and timely delivered.
Wonderful experience. The app worked great. I did have one flat, and discovered that a needed tool was missing. Fortunately there was a bike shop nearby. Turned out it was no big deal. The weather was fantastic.
