UK and Britain Solo Trips and Holidays

In three weeks we had a comprehensive tour of Peru with an excellent leader, Julio. Diverse landscapes, fabulous food, friendly people and amazing weather. We learned so much about the country and are already planning to return.

Wonderful trip! The itinerary was organized and made the most of our time there. We were able to see so many sights and experiences throughout Italy in a short amount of time. We were able to go to the front of the lines because we were with a group and were able to see the sights with less people in the location and a longer stay.

We were offered plenty of options. Better walking descriptions of each city and tours (optional or not) would be appreciated. For example, cobblestone streets in Prague and small cities were difficult to maneuver for one 80 year old. Our guide, Anne-Elyse, was very good. Some of the city guides felt they needed to talk the whole time. A brain rest would be nice.

The whole experience was superb. Explore provided a very professional service in partnership with excellent local partners. The itinerary was well-designed, allowing for proper acclimatisation. The accommodation (including the tents at base camp) was very comfortable, and the food was truly outstanding. We would not hesitate to recommend this trip to others, and look forward to our next Explore adventure..

Brilliant from start to finish. So we'll organised with the lovely Isobel talking us through the various stops , great knowledge and anecdotes as well coupled with Dave driving us safely around. Thoroughly recommend it.

The itinerary is fabulous. It covers several areas of the country, north and south. It also allots 2 full days in Porto which is awesome. I would have liked 2 days in Douro Valley as well.
