The basic itinerary included a day in London at the beginning and end - we'd recommend staying an extra couple of days to see more of one of the world's greatest city. Stratford On Avon, ancient York, and Lake Windemere in the Lake District of England were all eye-opening, unforgettable. Seeing Gretna Green, Glasgow, Stirling and Edinburgh gave us a sense of knowing Scotland - we were sad to leave. The ferry to Northern Ireland was fun with lots of comfortable furniture and good food and drink. Belfast was an unexpectedly fun city to walk around and make discoveries. Our first time in Dublin was spent shopping and in a couple of great pubs, and walking through Trinity University and seeing the Book of Kels. Waterford's highlight was of course the cocktail reception at Waterford Crystal, and seeing ancient evidence of the Vikings. A giant ferry delivered us back to Wales, to stay a night in Cardiff and see the Castle. On our way back to London we spent a couple of hours wandering one of the world's most well-designed, beautiful cities - Bath. The last stop of the tour was just outside London - Windsor - where we walked up to the royal's castle through the streets of the same-named town. Dropped off at out hotel in a charming walkable neighborhood near Kew Gardens, we had a relaxing dinner at a canal-side cafe and reflected on what great value we had in this trip.

The itinerary was exactly as advertised and probably too short. We enjoyed every sight.

Best itinerary. I wanted to see castles, and I got to see an eyeful. Being able to explore inside with a tour guide was great. Being able to walk around an be in the rooms was amazing. The coaches were wonderful. Roomy. Air conditioned. Enough room to store a day bag. The hotels were great. In a nice location. The bed and bathroom were great for a big man like me. The beds were super comfy. Big enough for a big guy to stretch out in. Lighting was great so I could watch TV and do some reading. Staff was wonderful in every hotel. Everything was A++. Great price. Great service all around.

This trip was a great introduction tour of the UK and Ireland. Very fast paced as far as mikes covered, but it didn’t make you feel rushed. The coach was very clean and comfortable. Only one hotel room was a bit cramped, but all the others were great. The breakfasts at ALL the hotels were above my expectations!

Started in London and travelled up to Glasgow for 2 nights. Beautiful countryside and perfect stops along the way. Interesting! over the sea to Belfast on the ferry. Titanic Museum incredible to visit. Down to Dublin for 2 nights. All outings and shows+ meals on tour most enjoyable. Down to Waterford then on the ferry back to Cardiff! Pace was manageable! After another night stopover, on the bus to Bath and Windsor Castle. Then back to London! Exhausted but very pleased to have gone on this magic tour!
