Had a wonderful time. We were able to see so much on this trip. Truly amazing. Glad I could mark it off my bucket list. The driver and the tour director were outstanding. If I could change anything it would be staying at that Clayton hotel. It was just so so. The room on that first night was better than the return room we had. The return room carpet was really dirty and overall did not look great. The shower in the return room also was very small and leaked. We did like the restrauant / bar was very nice.

Our excellent tour, leader Anna was always cheerful and an informative guide. Driver Garry took us all around in comfort and safety. The hotel in Plymouth was sub-par, the rest were either excellent or as good as you could expect in the wilds of Scotland or Ireland. In the modern age air conditioning and power each side of the bed are more or less essentials. And showers over the bath are a tad last-century. For all that, the itinerary was excellent, and we covered a lot of the UK in the three weeks. Highly recommended.!

Country Roads of Switzerland gives you the opportunity to explore many sites in Switzerland from the bigger cities like Zurich and Lucerne to the smaller mountain towns of Zermatt and Grindlewald. Being a first-time traveler to Switzerland, it was a good introduction to all the Country has to offer.

Very good trip, based in a quiet village setting where there were excellent restaurant and bar facilities. The accommodation was excellent and prepared meals to restaurant standards. The only downside for me was some of the walks ended with some free time in busy tourist destinations that were extremely overcrowded, very expensive and in the hot weather, uncomfortable.

This trip exceeded all expectations. The scenery was breathtaking, the group really nice and the tour leader (Alex) extremely knowledgeable. The hiking is challenging, but do-able. I was often towards the back, but at no point felt rushed to go faster than I could manage. I highly recommend a trip to the Svaneti region and the Caucasus Mountains.
