An excellent trip - the tour director was especially good - informative, helpful and professional at all times. She really helped us to understand the history and culture surro7nding us.

My journey with AAT AKing tour around Tasmania was absolutely 💯 fantastic. Our tour guide Carolyn was very informative and wonderful stories if the history of each place we went to...we were very well looked after and every day was packed with interesting information and places to visit ..as well as wonderful people to share our experiences with. I highly recommend this as a way to travel and see the country we live in

Thoroughly enjoyed the trip - such a variety of experiences and a wonderful tour guide ‘Mimi’ - he has a huge passion and wealth of knowledge about Sri Lanka (and a wicked sense of humour!) The accommodation was on the whole of a better standard than previous Explore trips I’ve been on. But this may have been down to the fantastic Sri Lankan people who were employed at the hotels. Highlight for me would have to be the Elephant Transit Home - it was slightly bittersweet in as much as you knew those young elephants had been orphaned but they were being given the opportunity to be rehabilitated. Some really interesting temples - although the trip maybe a little temple heavy in the fees few days.

Sri Lanka is a beautiful and vibrant island, with stunning landscapes and a rich cultural heritage. The tour was incredible and so were the experiences. George the tour guide was absolutely amazing. Nothing was ever too much trouble for him. He is outstanding at his job. He is a warm person who put everyone at ease and he had a wonderful way of making each person feel genuinely special. The heart felt poem he shared was the perfect finishing touch, leaving us all with memories we will treasure.

The accommodations were excellent. As was the tour guide. Most of the excursions were very enjoyable and informative. We opted for the organic farm. The only things I wouldn’t recommend are the tropical walk requiring mud boots. The boots didn’t fit well, the path was hard to navigate and the sights were not very interesting. The only 2 people who opted for the volcano hike were the younger tour administrators. We were all from North Carolina where the beaches are beautiful. The last day trip to a beach was a waste. We opted for an independent aerial tram tour that included a butterfly house and bat habitat. I thought it was one of the real highlights of the trip. Overall, it was a wonderful experience.
