Our tour leader Constantin was amazing and made sure that everyone had a fabulous time. We could not have asked for a better person. He worked hard to ensure everything went to plan, provided clear instructions for each day, gave valuable historical and cultural information and was a great guy to chat to and spend time with. He organised group dinners and arranged additional activities/visits as requested by group members eg boat trip on Danube. We had a delay at immigration on the Serbian boarder and Constantin worked hard to ensure that we held our place in the queue. Overall we were amazed by the whole trip and are very grateful to Constantine and the driver Christian for their hard work and friendship.

The smaller centres were my favorite. Heidelberg and Innsbruck were so much more beautiful than I imagined. Venice was such an experience, not knowing that there were various islands spread out with such diversity amongst them, Lake Maggiore and Lucerne were exceptional . The venicular and gondola to top of the Swiss Alps spectacular! The history, the architecture! The beauty was astonishing! We loved Paris, our hotel was close to the main trains, however be ready for lots of walking throughout the various centres! Our group felt that the tours in Rome were too much for one day, perhaps split over two days. Our guide was knowledgeable too, and very helpful with recommendations for which option’s may be suitable, preferable to individuals. He perhaps could share a few more details from the coach, of the various landscapes etc? Highly recommend Insight Tours, as this was out second trip!

This week of hiking was both challenging, especially as the weather was very hot, even in the mountains, but also enormously rewarding. The Guide ensured that our group was well informed, and enabled us to get maximum value every day. The Dolomites is an astonishingly beautiful region, and having access through public transport was so helpful. We gained a real sense of the life of those who actually live there, as well as a superb tourist experience.

This was a very well-organized and memorable tour with a wonderful On-Road Team, beautiful scenery, good weather overall, and a great group of fellow travelers. Helpful things to know before this tour: be prepared to pack an overnight bag for the overnight cruise between Helsinki and Stockholm (it helps with easier movement and the more compact cruise cabins), and bring charging cords for devices on the longer coach rides, as the buses have charging outlets. The rotating seat assignments were also a nice feature, allowing opportunities to meet different fellow travelers and enjoy varied viewpoints during the drives. The movies shown during the longer transit days were enjoyable and helped make the travel time more relaxing. The WhatsApp group set up before the trip made it possible to contact the Travel Director directly when a flight delay and tight connection led to a missed flight the day before the tour started. He quickly coordinated a later pickup time for the prepaid airport transfer after the flight was rebooked. The Insight tour driver was also excellent at navigating narrow city streets shared with heavy bicycle traffic. Overall, the tour was well organized, with comfortable Scandinavian-style hotels, a full but well-balanced itinerary, and plenty of memorable experiences. The group was punctual and easy to travel with, and the recap video shared by the Tour Director at the end was a nice way to reflect on the journey.

Pleasant countryside and a varied itinerary made this an interesting tour, and much more than just a walking holiday. I learnt a lot about Finnish culture and history from our tour-guide, Toni, who was enthusiastic and knowledgeable. For me, the island of Åland was a particularly special place and the visit to the Vasa in Stockholm was another highlight. For any fellow "gluten-free" travellers, I can say that it was very easy: there was a lot of choice at hotel breakfasts and on restaurant menus.

A great week offering lots of opportunity to explore this wonderful, unique part of Turkey - a good mix of walking and sightseeing with the chance to take a hot air balloon ride and to experience the serenity of the whirling dervish ceremony. The tour leader was very knowledgeable and accommodating. It was nice to relax and swim in the hotel pool at the end of the day overlooking the amazing scenery. My tip would be to seek out more traditional restaurants in the back streets rather than sticking only to those on the main streets. I would also suggest having a couple of nights in Istanbul before or after the holiday.
