It would be good to spend less time driving but I can’t see a way around it.More time in Medellín would be nice.The hotel there was lovely but very out of the way.We arrived by 3 but did nothing that afternoon which was partly our fault.My preference if staying in that hotel would be for the guide to take us to the nearby subway station and suggest an interesting close neighborhood to go to for us to walk around and eat dinner.He did point out the station from the bus but in that concrete jungle all we were able to find was an uninteresting mall.We did a lot of interesting experiences but I would recommend that the botanical garden be included and skip the cooking class and shorten the coffee experience in the coffee region.

Excellent trip, full on and packs in all the highlights of the Golden triangle. The tour guide was absolutely fantastic, leading our group and taking advantage of his good relationships with local people to make sure we had the best experience possible.

Inside Vietnam was more than I expected. The Vietnamese are a smiling, welcoming people. Our guide Diem did a wonderful job of introducing us to his country. Through his knowledge and stories I came away with a much clearer understanding of the recent history of Vietnam. My fellow Explore travellers were a joy to be with. A wonderful trip. A fantastic experience.

Sherif was an excellent trip manager! He was very enthusiastic and passionate about explaining the egyptian history. My favourite part of the trip is definitely the Pyramids! Ticked off on my bucket list! But also the cruise along the Nile was also incredible, we were spoilt with 3 days of buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner. The Red Sea cruise experience was also the highlight, snorkelling the salty Red Sea was so fun. Massive shoutout to Sherif who looked after us in this entire trip, some of us left our phones and passports by accident, and he managed to help us resolve it. Sherif was like a father to us, which must have been exhausting for him to look after a bunch of 18-35 year old kidults!! I overall enjoy this trip as much as first Contiki experience, have met lots of friends as an introvert on this trip, and I would likely join more Contikis in the future!

This was a first class trip with a great range of activities. There were plenty of guided things to get involved with - treks, white water rafting, city tours, wild life safaris. These were well balanced with free time for people to pursue their own interests. The thing which made the trip exceptional was Su the tour leader. His kindness, attention to detail and catering for everyone's needs was outstanding - often dealing with potential difficulties before they arose. Su was also well supported by the two drivers who always went beyond their duties. The team were real ambassadors for Nepal and Explore.

The trip was very educational. I felt like I had taken a graduate level class on the history and culture of Greece and I enjoyed every minute of it. we saw such BEAUTIFUL parts of the country.. The activities, hotels and restaurants chosen for us were very exceptional. The food was fabulous. Our tour director and bus driver were the BEST! I would recommend this trip to anyone.
