We enjoyed the trip despite the cold rainy weather. The accommodation was excellent if sometimes difficult to locate. The trip directions were good but more detailed and precise direction to hotels would be helpful. The bikes were suitable and comfortable but the bike computers were cheap and unreliable, prone to disconnect from their mounts. The scenery was magnificent. We feel inspired to continue further from Vienna to Budapest next.

I’ve previously been on several exodus trips either hiking or sightseeing ones or a mixture of the two. I thought I’d give cycling a go, I’m not a cyclist at home but keep myself fit. The trip was amazing, the cycling tough in the heat, but you get looked after so well, the bike teams manage the traffic so well and look after your hydration and energy levels. This trip isn’t just about the cycling though, the combination of 3 different countries, with different cultures and foods and fantastic sights and cities you get to see, make this a very memorable holiday.

This trip is well named and proved to be a most enjoyable adventure from north to south Vietnam. We experienced so many different things from the hustle and bustle of Hanoi and Saigon to the peacefulness of Halong Bay. We walked a lot, climbed to get the best views, we cycled, we travelled by road, rail, boat and aeroplane. We stayed in excellent hotels, a very well run boat and a very welcoming home stay.
