Embarking on a wildlife tour in Tanzania is an extraordinary adventure that goes beyond the traditional safari experience. From the vast savannahs of the Serengeti to the wildernesses of Ruaha, each region offers unique opportunities for game viewing and encounters with magnificent creatures, including the big five. Wildlife enthusiasts can also explore the lesser-known wildlife, such as civets, bushbuck, and duikers, in Moshi. For a rewarding bird-watching experience, head to Lake Manyara, which is home to flamingos and pelicans. Visit Nyerere National Park to learn about Tanzania’s wildlife conservation efforts. Whether you are a wildlife photography enthusiast or a nature lover, Tanzania offers unforgettable encounters with its incredible wildlife. Tanzania Safari Adventure

As my first ever safari, this trip was amazing. The wildlife viewing was way beyond what I could have imagined as was the warmth of welcome from all the people I encountered.

Trip of A Lifetime!

The amount of wildlife we saw on our Exodus Travels safari in Kenya & Tanzania blew my mind! Elephants, zebras, giraffes, wildebeest, hyenas, many kinds of antelope, baboons, monkeys, hippos, rhinos, alligators, cheetahs, and of course…….. lions. This trip was a dream one true, 50 years in the making. Thanks Raymond/"Dolly" for being the perfect person to guide us on this splendid adventure!

Excellent

Honestly, I wasn’t sure what to expect as safari tours seem expensive, and I kept wondering if it would really be worth the cost. But it absolutely was. From the first day I knew I’d made the right choice. Every game drive felt like a new adventure. One morning we watched a group of baby elephants playing in the dust while their mothers stood nearby. Later, we spotted a hippo yawning near a watering hole. So close we could see its giant teeth! And the sunsets? Incredible. Our guide was excellent. He was friendly & funny. The group dynamic was easy and fun. We had a mix of people: a couple celebrating their anniversary, a solo traveler from NY, and me with a close friend. It never felt awkward or too crowded. You don’t need to be super fit for this tour. Everything is done at a relaxed pace and was very accessible, even for folks who aren’t used to rugged travel. If Tanzania is on your list, my advice is that you don’t overthink it. Just go. It’s 100% worth it.
