Amazing Lifetime Experience! Don't hesitate and book!

Kilimanjaro is an amazing experience and it'll be one that you'll remember for the rest of your life, regardless of whether you're travelling solo, with a friend or a partner, you'll be in a group of like minded people, not all from the UK, we was fortunate enough to have members from all over the world sharing their experiences and plans with us. This trip was far beyond any expectations that I had set myself, I loved every moment of it! The guides have a great sense of humor! you'll be quickly introduced to phrases such as "Pole Pole" (slowly slowly) as well greeting all the porters that pass you "Jambo!" (hello!).

Best Mountain Trip ever!

I have climbed so many mountains but Kilimanjaro trip was the best. We were a private group consisting of my wife, kids and i, and we felt incredibly safe and supported throughout the trek, especially on summit night. The twice-daily medical check-ins were reassuring, especially for my kids, who had never been on a high-altitude hike. Our lead guide, with extensive mountain medical training, kept everyone calm and comfortable. The way the guides made our kids feel special, accomplished, acknowledged them as young adults and bonded with them meant so much & definitely make this a wonderful experience they will remember forever. I highly recommend this travel operator. They know the mountain inside out, they will take care about you giving you the support where you need and will organize the journey with extreme attention to details.

Great Organized team

It's no surprise that Zara Tours is top rated in Kilimanjaro trekking, my husband and I can confirm that they are absolutely the best! Booking was smooth and straight forward, including payments. Everything very transparent including the extra equipment that we hired. Guides are professional and highly experienced. They have specialized in caring for climbers to ensure safety and comfort. Equipment was good- the tents warm and comfortable even at the high altitudes. There are oxygen bottles, first aid kits. Our experience was wonderful

KILIMANJARO CLIMB - LEMOSHO ROUTE

Fantastic trip, wonderful experience, highly recommend. Guides, Porters and stomach engineer (aka, chef) all did an excellent job. Trekking is not particularly arduous although summit day is more demanding given A) you ascend overnight, (B) the cold and C) the lack of Oxygen at that altitude. If you have a reasonable level of fitness then, all things being equal,  you should manage to make the summit. While it can be warm during the day it can get cold at night. We woke several mornings to frost on the ground so take warm clothes with you and a good sleeping bag, either your own or a hired one.

Could not have been better!

I just finished a climb to Kilimanjaro through the Machame route with this local tour operator. The travel guide and his team cared perfectly for us—even on some rainy days. There was always hot tea on the way and a bed-bottle at night. The food was amazing—fresh fruit and veggies every day. And we all made it to the summit—first group and right in time for sunrise. Could not have been better. Thank you so much for an unforgettable experience!

This was undoubtedly the best trip I have ever been on! To the person who planned, implemented and succesfully put this amazing experience together - the next round is on me! Thank you! The Trip Managers were exceptional, and put any worries or concerns I had away from first contact until the end of the trip. They were not only highly qualified Safari Guides but also drove the safari vehicles (which were perfect for spotting the Big 5) and made the trip safe, informative and fun. From seeing a cheetah walking into the sunset on our first day and the countless lion sightings in the Maasai Mara to meeting the inspiring people at the Mirror of Hope Foundation to watching the sun rise on Kilimanjaro in Kenya. To then crossing the border and seeing the never ending abundance of wildlife in Tanzania's diverse parks - elephants, hippos, buffalo, lions, giraffe, zebra, warthogs, more lions, leopards in trees at sunset... they just kept coming and coming and each sighting was more special than the next... this will always stay with me. The accommodation was WAY better than I expected, I had monkeys swinging from trees most days in front of my deck/porch, mongooses playing around the garden beds and even the Great Migration walking right past our Special Stay tented camp in the middle of the Serengeti. En-suite toilets, plush linen on King sized beds, electricty and hot water, tea & coffee stations and all with great views into nature to look out for wildlife walking past. As for the food, with buffet meals every day, I certainly didnt leave this trip skinnier and couldnt get enough of the local cuisine along side some international flavours. This trip might be pricey, you might be concerned about what people might "think" they know about Africa but this trip took my breathe away, will stay with me forever and I cant wait to go back on another safari in the future. Just do it...
