7 Days Mount Kilimanjaro Trekking - Lemosho Route

This is a lesser known route which usually begins on the western side of Mount Kilimanjaro. Lemosho route is one of the newer routes on the mountain, and a superb choice for your climb. It is our preferred route due to its ideal balance of low traffic, beautiful scenery and a high summit success rate. Most of our clients use this route and love it. The route approaches Mount Kilimanjaro from the west, beginning with a long drive from Moshi to Londorossi Gate. From there, the first two days are spent trekking through the rainforest to Shira Ridge. Unlike the popular Machame route, which simply intersects the Shira Plateau, the Lemosho route crosses the entirety of the plain from west to east in a pleasant, relatively flat hike. An added bonus is that climbers will encounter low traffic until the route joins the Machame route. Afterwards, Lemosho follows the same route through Lava Tower, Barranco and Barafu, known as the southern circuit. Descent is made via the Mweka route.

This 4 Days Serengeti, Manyara, Ngorongoro Crater Safari Tour will take you through the Northern Safari Circuit in Tanzania. Primarily, you will be visiting Serengeti National Park, Lake Manyara National Park and the Ngorongoro Crater. A visit to the Ngorongoro Crater is an experience of a lifetime. There are few places that have wildlife densities and variety at this level. It is not unusual to see the Big Five in one day-and all this in the most amazing setting with a backdrop of the 600m/1968ft high crater wall. Lake Manyara National Park provides the perfect introduction to Tanzania’s birdlife. More than 400 species have been recorded, and even a first-time visitor to Africa might reasonably expect to observe 100 of these in one day. Highlights include thousands of pink-hued flamingos on their perpetual migration, as well as other large waterbirds such as pelicans, cormorants and storks. There is more to Serengeti than large mammals. Gaudy agama lizards and rock hyraxes scuffle around the surfaces of the park’s isolated granite koppies. A full 100 varieties of dung beetle have been recorded, as have 500-plus bird species, ranging from the outsized ostrich and bizarre secretary bird of the open grassland, to the black eagles that soar effortlessly above the Lobo Hills. This tour had the perfect blend of Safari and local culture. We loved our tour manager Titus, a fountain of information. Great smile and shared his knowledge of the animals , birds and culture. My favorite experience was seeing 5 female lions up in a tree , on different limbs snoozing, while the cubs were at the base of the tree while their mothers slept.

A great safari experience! We had the opportunity to experience four different game reserves, each with its own character, with knowledgeable guides and luxury camping. Joseph and Joseph made sure we got to see a great range of animals and birds, and looked for the best photo angles too. Good food, good company and good weather made for a fabulous trip.

Our tour guide, Felix was FANTASTIC!! He was professional, enthusiastic, informative and a really great guy!! Of course the wildlife was AMAZING!! Everyday was filled with beautiful wildlife: elephants, zebras, lions, Buffalo, gazelles, birds, cheetahs and leopards!!! The scenery was breath taking. I have fallen in love with Kenya and Tanzania.
