I did a 7-day Kilimanjaro trek via the Rongai Route in December and it was an absolutely unforgettable experience. Everything was perfectly organized from start to finish. The landscapes along the Rongai Route were breathtaking, with beautiful and constantly changing scenery at every camp. It was one of the most memorable holidays I’ve ever had. It was less crowded so it felt like absolutely exclusive. The crew was outstanding: Bakari the mountain guide, Mojo created amazing food Mama Africa, and a hardworking, friendly team of porters who supported me all the way to the summit. Thanks to them, I successfully reached the top of Mount Kilimanjaro and fulfilled a lifelong dream. Highly recommended!

Ringo en Mahamoud waren buitengewoon deskundig, geduldig en motiverend. Hun kennis van de berg, hun aandacht voor ons welzijn en hun constante aanmoediging hebben een enorme rol gespeeld in ons succes. Zonder hen hadden we dit nooit gehaald. Daarnaast willen we ook het hele ondersteunende team bedanken: de dragers die met zoveel toewijding alles de berg op brachten, de ober die ons telkens met een vriendelijke glimlach bediende en natuurlijk de chef, die elke dag opnieuw heerlijke en voedzame maaltijden bereidde. Het voelde als pure luxe om op deze manier verzorgd te worden tijdens zo’n uitdagende trekking.
