Our trip to Tanzania was well curated by this company. From our first chats with Joan, we felt comfortable to proceed with booking with this company. Booking with local company makes us feel the great contribution to the local economy. Our guide was very helpful and informative, he did everything he could to make us comfortable and informed. The safari camp, Suenos was best and in the center of wilderness, with greater views of wildlife. It was amazing to here the sound of animals at mid-night and we will never forget this experience. One thing of note is flexibility the company have on planing of our trip. We will get back to this company again and again when we travel to Tanzania again. Thanks to Brian, Judith and our travel planner Joan, we enjoyed every moment with you guys in Tanzania.

Usually, I plan every little detail of my vacations on my own. This was the first time I didn't have the time and used a travel agency. They made everything very easy and effortless. I was able to customize our trip based on our needs and wishes. There are so many travel companies in Tanzania that offer similar things. The reason why I chose this agency was that they had very good communication. I couldn't be happier with the decision and would do it again.

This was an excellent Safari. The Tour was as described for style and is not for the faint hearted. We observed all of the animals and birdlife you could wish for. This was a real adventure and both my Wife and I thoroughly enjoyed it. The itinery could do with an update although in the grand scheme of things would not have made much difference.

Excellent opportunity to get a feel for Southern Africa, as well as see large numbers of animals in their natural element. Victoria Falls was worth the 50 USD entry price. This is NOT a luxury tour! It is camping and cooking meals by the side of the road.

I recently completed a 7-day Kilimanjaro trek via the Machame Route with Kilisa Tours & Safaris, and the experience was exceptional from start to finish. This tour provider hits it out of the park on the big wins: safety, logistics, and expertise. Their guides conducted twice daily health checks, measuring blood oxygen to ensure we were acclimating appropriately and they had medication ready to cover any malady. On summit day they carried oxygen as a safety measure that I found necessary after experiencing altitude sickness and the team even provided it to another suffering climber whose guides were not carrying oxygen. Not all guide services have these safety measures! The logistics flow was impressive from the get-go with airport and hotel shuttles. The camp logistics on-mountain was even more so. We’d depart camp after breakfast, they’d have tea and snacks set up along the trail, and we’d arrive at lunch to find the mess tent already set up with lunch ready, just to find it and our sleeping tents set up again at the end of the hike with tea and popcorn waiting and dinner shortly to follow. The consideration that the Porter team put into our comfort was overwhelming. The expertise of the team was unquestionable. The company clearly takes hiring very seriously and recruits knowledgeable guides. Professionals across the board whom we greatly trusted. With the big wins checked off in style, the company goes above and beyond with personal touches that make the trip truly memorable. I think the most memorable for us was the tradition and ceremony that the team brought to the experience - celebratory group singing and dancing especially, even cakes and champagne! Then small things like hot water bottles to keep sleeping bags warm really made us feel well cared for.

We chose this 2-day tour for a short weekend trip, and honestly it was much more than expected. On the first day I entered Tarangire National Park, I was overwhelmed to see huge elephant herds, zebras, giraffes, and lions. The guide explained to us all about the animals. On the second day, while descending to the Ngorongoro Crater, the whole scene is like a dream world - seeing black rhinos, lions, hippos, and innumerable gonos together is a truly amazing experience. Although time was limited, I didn't expect to see so much together. Perfect tour for those who want to taste Africa in a short time.

We, along with a few friends, took part in a 3-day safari, which was planned as Arusha → Tarangire → Lake Manyara → Ngorongoro Crater. We had a lot of fun on this little trip together. At night, it was fun, and during the day, it was all about wildlife. Our guide was very experienced; he would easily find animals and share interesting information about each place. The huge elephant herd in Tarangire, the colorful birds of Lake Manyara and the magnificent view of the Ngorongoro Crater are still remembered. This safari will definitely be a great experience for those who want to enjoy the original beauties of Tanzania in less time.

Mustang Trek Review Our Mustang journey was an extraordinary experience from start to finish - one defined not only by the landscape, but by the people, the culture, and the challenge of the trek itself. The Leader and the Team We were fortunate to travel with a truly outstanding team which was capably led by a wonderful team leader. They were consistently supportive, attentive, and incredibly hardworking, creating an atmosphere of encouragement from day one. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and their quiet professionalism played a huge role in making the experience both enjoyable and safe. A highlight was the bowl of warm water every morning and night - so appreciated. Food The food was a pleasant and often surprising highlight. Each meal offered plenty of variety, and there was always an abundance - no one was ever left hungry. Whether it was traditional dishes or familiar comfort options, everything was well prepared. A particularly memorable touch was the black tea, which became a daily ritual and the perfect way to start mornings on the trail. Scenery Mustang's landscape is both brutal and beautiful in equal measure. Stark, wind-swept terrain and dramatic hills gave way to moments of striking natural beauty. At times it was technically challenging, requiring focus and care underfoot. More often, it was personally testing - long, tough climbs followed by even more punishing descents. Yet it was precisely these challenges that made the experience so rewarding. The trek is not to be taken lightly. It is at the top end of a challenging walk. Tiji Festival A true highlight was witnessing the Tiji Festival - a remarkable three-day cultural event. The colour, ceremony, and energy of the festival provided a rare and authentic glimpse into local traditions, adding a powerful cultural dimension to the trek. Summary Overall, the Mustang trek was exceptionally well organised and ably led. Supported by a fantastic team, enriched by unique cultural experiences, and set against a landscape that is as demanding as it is beautiful, it is a journey that will stay with us for a lifetime.

Our great guide, Musa, met us at our hotel and we left together with Seif who drove us around to see the most important sites pertaining to the slave trade on the main island. The sites were incredibly interesting to see but it was Musa's detailed explanations and discussion which really helped us out everything into context. We thank Musa for his excellent company, a gentleman of old :) We highly recommend this tour.
