Together with my daughter, I climbed Kilimanjaro via the Machame Route at the beginning of June 2025 – and what an unforgettable adventure it turned out to be! From the very first contact, the tour operators inspired confidence: excellent communication, clear information, and a warm welcome upon arrival. Our team of guides, porters, and cooks was exceptionally professional, friendly, and dedicated. They not only ensured our safety but also created a fantastic atmosphere throughout the entire climb. The route itself was breathtakingly beautiful. Every day brought new landscapes – from lush rainforest to alpine desert, and finally reaching the summit: a snow-covered Uhuru Peak. The guidance from our guides was invaluable; they constantly monitored our health and acclimatization and kept us motivated during the toughest moments. Thanks to their support, my daughter and I ultimately stood on the summit of Kilimanjaro – an emotional and proud moment that we will both cherish forever. The organization of meals, camp setup, and daily planning was impeccable. It’s incredible how much comfort the team was able to provide, even at high altitude. 1) Airport pick up from Mount Kilimanjaro airport to moshi: excellent and on time. Eli is a safe driver. 2) 7day Lemosho route: guide, Good Luck, was professional and caring. Helped checked luggage pre-trek to ensure I have all equipment and clothing, potential risk assessment for the hike. Most importantly he helped me to reach the peak of Mount Kilimanjaro successfully despite being 4 hours later than everyone due to my slow speed. 3) Team: one guide, one chef, (Amos), one waiter (David). These were the main people who spoke to me. Great English. 4 porters who helped me as I was walking like a snail and had some slight toe injuries. Full team was very attentive to my needs and preferences of food, comfort level, questions about anything about Mount Kilimanjaro. Very friendly and patient crew.

The guide was passionate and deeply knowledgeable, and the camping setup made me feel both adventurous and safe. Camps were set up promptly and securely, meals were warm, nutritious, and catered to our energy needs, and clean drinking water was always provided. Hygiene at camp was clearly a priority, and handwashing stations and daily sanitization made a big difference. On summit night, the guides ensured we were fully prepared both mentally and physically. Their encouragement, constant monitoring, and careful pacing made a very difficult climb feel achievable and safe. If you’re looking to hike Kilimanjaro and safety is a top concern, I highly recommend the Lemosho Route—and even more so, doing it with a professional, experienced team that prioritizes your health every step of the way.
