Our tour of Rome and the Amalfi Coast with Colette in October, traveling with the Howie Carr Show, was truly outstanding. Enzio, our tour guide, was exceptional—so knowledgeable and engaging. His knowledge of the history of Italy was outstanding and always ready with an answer to every question. It’s hard to choose just one favorite, but I especially loved exploring Rome, Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain and Piazza Navona. The visit to the Lacryma Christi winery, where we enjoyed lunch and a walk through the vineyards, was another highlight. We enjoyed beautiful afternoons exploring the Amalfi Coast. And I would be remiss not to mention how special it was to have dinner with Howie Carr. We sat next to each other, and it was such a pleasure—thank you, Howie, it was very nice meeting you! This was truly the trip of a lifetime, and I highly recommend it to anyone wanting to experience the beauty and history of Rome and the Amalfi Coast.
The whole tour was amazing! Loved the diverse experience between Rome and the Amalfi Coast. Rome had the Colosseum. Spanish steps, churches, the Jewish Ghetto and beautiful fountains. The Amalfi Coast had stunning mountain and water views, the narrow streets with quaint shops paved with lava stone with beautiful ceramics for purchase that were painted with serene landscapes of the area. Both locations had amazing dinning, we thoroughly enjoyed the food tour in Rome and the Collette provided dinners were truly amazing. My wife and I will definitely be traveling with Collette in the near future.
Perfecto
Loved it woukd love to go back but just to Amalfi coast area it was so beautiful.
We especially enjoyed the visit to the winery/farm & also the family who makes the fresh mozzarella/pizza. Both those events were very special. Christian Cueva made our experience exceptionally good as a tour manager. He was caring, knowledgeable & professional, along with truly caring about our experience.
The whole trip was wonderful! Christian was a great tour manager! My favorites were the tours with meals, the winery in Pompeii and the farm in Sorrento.
Very good tour and plenty of time spent at each of the cities.
We were very rushed throughout the tour. Didn’t get a chance to fully enjoy the different locations. We weren’t informed that we should have purchased some tickets before arriving. So did NOT get to see the Vatican City, Sistine Chapel, inside the Coliseum, or the Pantheon. We had free time if we had known. Disappointed with the guide our group had for Pompeii. My roommate had a better experience.
Too many excellent adventures to select only 1
Great job.
The Amalfi Coast Hotel is not situated in the optimum location. The hotel is on its last leg, so much so that they are suspending operations this fall for a full remodel. Christina was not the appropiate guide A couple of times she mentiond that she couldnt elaborate on thw tours bvause she had no “credentials” on certain locations
going to amafi
First timer. Was not sure about following a group . But the social aspect of being with 36 others was a real bonus for my bride and I.
Great sights and experiences!
This was a memorable tour of Rome & the Amalfi Coast. Mauro our tour guide was so knowledgeable in presentation of Italy past & present. Many great memories were made.

Tour was good Food just ok Not a lot of time in Almafi and positano
Delicious food, breathtaking sites! Mauro and Pasquale were wonderful tour guides/driver 😊
So many perfect memories from our first time in Italy. We will be back some day!
The entire tour was Amazing ! Our tour manager Federico was Fabulous so knowledgeable and personal Woykd highly recommend!!
Trastevere Food Tour was wonderful. Our local guide was very knowledgeable and had a great personality. Raito Hotel was outstanding with incredible views.
Capri, Positano
The trip to Rome and Amalfi Coast was amazing! Pompeii, the Greek Ruins, The Vatican, all the sights were amazing! Would highly recommend eating at La Parolaccia & Sons while there. So good and fun! The Amalfi Coast was absolutely beautiful. Would definitely recommend taking a boat ride down the Coastline to Capri. The towns along the Coast are amazing to see and the food anywhere you go is delicious! Gelatos and the Lemoncello Spritz are a must!
This tour covered a lot of area and important historical sites. Beginning in Florence and ending on the Amalfi Coast my experience surpassed my expectations. The tour guides were knowledgeable and friendly. We were able to experience each areas attractions and local flavors seamlessly. I highly recommend Collette for dream vacations.
Traveling is awesome, especially with women!
The hotel in Rome was excellent but I would not go back to Hotel Raito. The restaurant was not accommodating and there were no other options within walking distance. Our tour guide (Antonia)was excellent! I would have liked more down time. All in all this was a fabulous trip and I would highly recommend
Our guide was the best! Every moment was amazing. I can recommend this trip to anyone.
Antonia out your guide was outstanding. She made sure our trip and our stay was everything that we expected. She really went out of her way. Thank you
The tours were all Great! Valentina is a wonderful tour manager. We got engaged in Sorrento which made it extra special. The hotel in Rome could have been better and in a nicer area because there was nothing to do around the hotel and really no restaurants in the area besides the restaurant in the hotel, but overall the food and tours were All very memorable.
Enjoyed pasta factory, limoncello factory and mozzarella making with pizza. Loved food tour. The Isle of Salerno was lovely, not crowded and beautiful.
1) On the second day we were there, the new Pope was selected. 2) Touring the Rome and Colosseum. 3) The Amalfi Coast was magical.
Our tour leader was the absolute best. Max attended to all of the tour participants. He could not have been more thoughtful and more attentive, great sense of humor, too. The Rome hotel was beautiful and enjoyed a perfect location. The trip to Pompeii and the vineyard lunch with wine tastings were favorites. Very pleased to have enjoyed this trip.
Great tour. Good pacing. Variety of experiences. Knowledgeable guides.
The Hotel Raito was lovely. The add-on boat tour of the grottos in Capri is highly recommended. Our visit Case Variso was the highlight with a charming hostess at a lovely farm serving an amazing spread of delicious food. We also very much enjoyed or visit to a farm in Sorrento for a mozzarella and cooking demonstration. Palermo was a delightful surprise and we really enjoyed our walking tour and spending time at the market.
The tour was well organized and the main tour guide was very knowledgeable and attentive to the needs of everyone in the group. It would have been helpful if the hotel room were available upon arrival. Also, it was very difficult to leave close to 3am in the morning on the last day. I would have preferred to have left at 6am, and to have been driven back to Rome. All the guides were very informative and the other people on the tour were lots of fun to talk to. The trip to the Blue Grotta was particularly fun because it was a short and beautiful boat ride, and the weather was great. Thanks You So Much, Mary
A wonderful experience in a great country ‼️ Thank you Paola and the local tour guides for a fantastic trip!!
This was a fantastic tour! Perhaps the best part was staying at the five-star Hotel Raito on the Amalfi coast. We had an excellent tour manager who looked after every need. The tour schedule kept us busy, but not too busy. We went in May, which is the perfect month because the weather is pleasant. I give this tour the highest recommendation!
Omg……absolutely marvelous! The time of my life was had. It wouldn’t have been quite as possible if not for our tour guide (Daniel) who was fantastic! Oh and we had the best bus driver as well ! I would definitely recommend Collette and this tour. I can’t wait to travel with them in the very near future!
Max was a great guide and went out of his way to ensure everyone had a great time. Met some wonderful people on the tour as well. One of the highlights was that he added an extra on his own and a group of us went to Salerno. His wife had a friend there and she helped show us the town. Then we went to a restaurant she recommended and it was one of the best meals I had. Another place that Max had heard about was this restaurant near our hotel that a bunch of us went to and again the food was amazing. In terms of sites I loved the picturesque beauty of the Amalfi Coast and how blue the sea was. Pompeii, the forum in Rome and the mouth of truth were my favorite sites.
