Venice gondola was wonderful. Also, Portofino trip exceptional.. Dario was great throughout. Murano a great addition. Wineries were wonderful as was the food prep and presentation. A magnificent experience each day. Overall, a five-star experience.
Excellent tour, and Dario, the tour guide was the best! Hotels were generally very nice - settings were exceptional. Slight snafu with water being turned off in the hotel 2 days in a row, but assume that couldn't be helped! Dario added a vineyard and wine lunch to appease, and it was lovely. We particularly enjoyed the evening where we prepared our own dinner! Thanks for everything - we will travel with Collette again!
The stay in Montecantini Terme was too many nights and the hotel in that city was not up to the standards described or on par with the hotels used in the other cities, The people of Italy are the country’s biggest asset. Having a feeling of welcoming makes the entire experience pleasurable.
Experience the romance of Italy’s rolling landscapes and sun-kissed shores with the 'Tuscany & the Italian Riviera' tour, a nine-day journey that blends city sightseeing with the rustic beauty of the countryside. Begin in regal Turin, soak in the dramatic coastline of the Cinque Terre, and unwind with a three-night stay in a Tuscan village. Participate in a hands-on pasta-making class, explore the walled town of Lucca, and wander the art-laden streets of Florence and Greve in Chianti. With moderate daily activity, this tour is ideal for those drawn to Italy’s rich blend of history, food, and culture. The highlight? An authentic immersion into rural Italian life, complete with culinary delights and medieval charm.
