day 1Arrive Blois
Make your way to Blois and your hotel. Dependent on your arrival time we recommend taking a walk around the town, which is known for its light facades and blue roofs, its pedestrian streets gracefully preserving the flavour of lost centuries and its serene atmosphere. Worth a visit is the Royal Chateau de Blois, the residence of several French kings and a perfect example of the evolution of French architecture between the Middle Ages and 17th century.
day 2Cycle to Amboise (42km/26.3mi)
day 3Loop cycle to the vineyards of Vouvray (48km/30mi)
day 4Cycle through the Cher Valley to Chenonceaux (42km/26.3mi)
day 5Pass through vineyards to Chitenay or Cheverny (40 or 53km/25 or 33mi)
day 6Round cycle to visit the Chateau of Beauregard and Sologne area (47km/29mi)

Customer Reviews
Excellent cycling routes.
Overall the trip was well organised and fun. Dinners were a little disappointing but nothing else was.
Bikes good, accommodation good, road book left us stranded a few times and did not correct us when we went the wrong way other than to tell us we went the wrong way.
The itineraries were good - we enjoyed the variety of terrain: riverside, vineyards, agricultural fields, forests, and villages. The cycling was on dedicated bike paths or quiet country roads. The days went by quickly. Our hotels were charming and comfortable. Our only complaint was the unreliability of the Roadbook and how to be sure we were on the right path. As a result, a few times we ended up on busier roads which was very uncomfortable and no assistance from Roadbook to get back on track.
The trip was beautiful with just the right amount of relaxation and exercise. Extremely well organised and set up with good bikes, an excellent introduction and trip plans.
