More time to explore on our own on the attractions. Those with gift shops can includes more shopping time.

It’s very full and busy

It was great...the tour guide was very accommodating and knowledgeable. Saw a lot of sights and would highly recommend. The hotels were wonderful, especially the Crown Plaza in Rome. The only negative was the dinner at the Florence hotel....very disappointing and tasted like cafeteria food.

It is a fast paced tour of Italy. You know that when booking - "Tour de force" per our tour director. But you do get to see main cities of Italy and many historical places. Perfect for those on a tight time schedule but want to see Italy.

Expect to do a lot of walking on cobblestones and up hills!

This was a wonderful itinerary with an excellent tour director and driver. The pace of travel was very nice and quality of the individual tours was very good. Personally, I wish we had more free time to explore on our own, but I also recognize with an 8 day tour there is only so much time. I wish there were no included meals other than breakfast. The included meals were probably our least favorite of all the meals on the trip, but the optional meals were all excellent, and worth the expense. We met great people and had a wonderful trip, so overall truly excellent!

The tour covered the major cities and all there was to do there, but also went to places out of the cities which were so quaint and full of culture with the local people
