Love our tour manager, he made it fun & was very informative about the places we were going. Appreciated seeing off the beaten path areas. Getting to experience the culture of a Fado meal, having a meal in the home of local family, cooked by them! Doing part of the Camino trail and day trip to France were such great experiences for us. We loved our trip.
Great fun. So much history to see. Food and and wine experiences were wonderful. Our tour manager was very friendly and so interesting.
Pamplona. The local guide in was hysterical! Then again, he had an overwhelming amount of material regarding people lacking in intelligence running with bulls.
I would consider this a pretty in-depth visit to Portugal and Spain. Loved all that I learned about food and wine and culture. I loved that we went to some not as well known parts of Spain such as the Rioja Valley. We thoroughly enjoyed this trip.
The tour was a great balance of included activities and free time. It was a very delicious introduction to the flavors of Portugal and Spain - the traditional foods, the wine, the culture. The tour guide was extremely knowledgeable, friendly and patient. The lodgings were very-well located for exploring each of the cities. Highly, highly recommend!
