Vietnam has a complex history that shapes much of its modern life. We recommend visiting the cultural religious and historic sites of Ho Chi Minh City, including a tour of the Củ Chi tunnels leftover from the Vietnam War. Head North for a boat cruise on Ha Long Bay, or visit the capital city of Hanoi to discover its temples, museums and delicious street food.

Vietnam Tour Reviews

Honest insights from past guests on our Vietnam tours

Sibylle | Traveled in May

I did the Cycling Tour in March and our Vietnamese guide tour was Doan who was truly excellent and made our experience very special. Always above and beyond. He shared lots of interesting knowledge and had always good recommendations. The cycling was wonderfuly through villages, along the coast, one day up a mountain pass, around a lagoon, through towns and villages. We always stopped at markets or places of interest, where other tourists would not get to because the cycling took us of the beaten track. The itinery is very busy but we saw a lot in 2 weeks! There is a lot of coach travel too but that was needed to cover the length of the country. Everything was really well organised and the support team were also fantastic. I would recommend it - it's an adventure. I felt I saw and learnt a lot about this beautiful, complex country.

The itinerary was very well paced with good start times each morning that never felt too rushed. The accommodations were spacious, clean, and comfortable throughout the trip, which made the experience even more enjoyable. Having all the details organized made for a very relaxing and stress-free tour.

Contiki was a great introduction to Vietnam and getting to know the country, I could have been happy without Nah Trang and the moonview hotel was abit of a letdown but over all I loved the trip

Fantastic trip in Vietnam!

This was a really incredible trip! From North to South you get to see the ins-and-outs of this beautiful country, the beautiful sights, the friendly people and the tasty food! I feel that it was the perfect duration for the locations visited - I didn't feel rushed on any days but also don't feel that we were roaming around aimlessly at any point! Just an action packed trip from start to finish and one that I would definitely recommend to anyone who is thinking about going for it... you won't regret it!

This was a perfect trip! In Vietnam each city was different, and our activities were interesting and often a lot of fun. The Ha Long Bay cruise was a highlight, as were our trips up the Mekong River. I already miss the food and the people. Our TD was great, helpful, funny and educational. Cambodia was slower and full of history and kind people. There was enough free time for some additional things we wanted to do on our own. Happy, time well spent.

The whole tour was amazing. Angkor Wat was the highlight of our trip. The additional activity of Vespa ride through Saigon was the most enjoyable thing we did. Would highly recommend the additional days in Bangkok. We ventured through the floating market, a lot of fun. All hotels were very good, WiFi was excellent in all the hotels. Our guides in each country definitely helped us enjoy all the tours and their knowledge was great.
