What an amazing trip! A good balance between winter activities and down time. Managed to use the hotel sauna every afternoon which was great and super relaxing. The weather was perfect and we saw the spectacular Northern Lights 3 nights out of 5. When we didn’t see them, we just didn’t go out to look for them :) The food in Finland is delicious and the local guides, restaurant and hotel staff are very helpful, kind and caring. Highly recommend this trip! Thank you, Explore, for organizing such a fab adventure!

Really enjoyed Tavira and its culture, cuisine, the hotel and people. Holiday was fun - a nice, mixed group of 16 people. Great walks every day which were varied and included salt pans & flamingos, hills and olive, carob, almond and orange groves, through beautiful countryside and stopping for refreshments/lunch/ or to eat our picnic. Fascinating seaside town with fish markets and beautiful houses, and a very easy - going good guide.

Our guide was excellent and I can thoroughly recommend Althea whose enthusiasm and knowledge couldn’t be faulted. This made the trip. It was a great group and we all enjoyed every aspect of the trip which had been well thought out and covered a very broad spectrum of interests from wild flowers to the history of World War II. The trip ran like clockwork mainly due to Althea and our drivers. The only disappointment was not being able to take the Blue Grotto boat trip because it was too windy. The other boat trips were very enjoyable. I would certainly recommend this trip which is busy but manages to take in many many sights and places of interest all over Malta and Gozo.

Excellent

Transportation and accommodations were solid, and the itinerary was diverse, covering highlights of both countries. The group atmosphere was friendly, and it felt like everyone got along well, which added to the enjoyment. Thanks to the guide for keeping everything organized and enjoyable. Overall, a well-managed trip with good balance.

Excellent

This tour was absolutely incredible! Starting in Istanbul and traveling through Turkey’s most iconic spots, from Cappadocia’s landscapes to Ephesus and Troy. The blend of history, culture, and natural beauty kept me amazed every day. Mykonos and Santorini were, of course, highlights with their breathtaking views. The entire experience was well-organized, and we had enough free time to explore on our own. Highly recommend this tour for anyone wanting to discover Turkey and Greece in depth!

Excellent week with beautiful views on the Portugese coast

My second exodus trip in portugal and once again the food (especially the picnics) was exceptional. Not quite enough cycling to burn off all the calories from the pasteis de natas and other delicious pastries/cakes! The scenery on this trip was the best I have experienced on an exodus trip - on other trips I've found some great scenery interspersed with longer stretches on roads with nondescript views, on the porto to lisbon trip it was multiple stunning beach/cliff views with forest, boardwalk, bays and quaint villages. Hotels were generally of very good quality (worth the superior comfort level advertised). The start hotel was changed to the Hotel Vila Gale which was OK but could do with a refurb of the rooms (doesn't look as good as the planned hotel neya).
