This is a wonderful tour. It does live up to its name. There is a constant barrage of opportunities to try different food and wines. In between all that is the ambiance of old world architecture, history, and art. The hotels are extremely good. The motor coach is very comfortable. The main roads are excellent, and the drives are relatively short. Our guide, Jose, was extremely knowledgeable, helpful, and entertaining. It is a very active tour. There is a lot of walking; much on cobblestone streets with steps and inclines. There is not a lot of free time, except for Salamanca.

A varied trip through 4 countries, of which 2 were new to me. A good combination of history, culture and towns to see. Two optional boat trips were taken by the entire group, and given much lack of an alternative, should really be part of the official trip. Dusan, the tour leader was enthusiastic and helpfull throughout. Highlights for me were the cities of Sarajevo, Mostar and Dubrovnik. It should be noted that in June, the weather was very hot, and should be taken into consideration.

Spectacular scenery! Our tour director, Petra, was amazing! Optional excursions are well worth the additional cost. Fellow travelers were excellent company. Enjoyed staying in cities more than one night. Excellent hotels and food. Motor coach was very comfortable and the drivers were excellent. A well-balanced tour of Switzerland, would do it again in a heartbeat!

Transport and accommodation were very comfortable. We got to see a lot, but the itinerary was not so busy that we felt exhausted. There was enough downtime. The tour director was amazing.

Great itinerary combining nature walks and city visits in a compact, well-balanced trip. The group was friendly, experienced, and made up of strong walkers. Magical, overnight stay in Palmse distillery in Estonia! Trip notes: A walking stick is highly recommended, especially for the many steps in Gauja Forest, Latvia. Our tour leader was energetic and knowledgeable about the region's history and culture. It would have been a bonus to have a park ranger or botanist explain the local plants and wildlife, though the well-informed group helped fill in those gaps. Best surprise: Our guide arranged a minivan to the Midsummer bonfire celebration in Riga—an unforgettable experience and highly recommended. One suggestion: add an extra afternoon or full day in Riga.
