Excellent

Overall this was a great experience, I very much enjoyed this trip and will plan to book with G Adventures again. For me the biggest things were the small group size, sense of wanting to work with local small businesses, and great pace to the trip overall. I cannot stress enough how great Tahsin was, he is undoubtedly 10/10 without question!

Excellent

G Adventures exceeded my expectations. Absolute Turkey allowed me to experience the country's varied culture and geography from city to small village, from farmland to seacoast, from mosques to the underground cities, and much more. With an excellent tour guide and driver, I highly recommend this trip.

Dave was a truly excellent guide. The hotel was good but now with so, so many hiking tourists the breakfast period was totally over run making it difficult to fit in prep for hiking with grocery purchases for lunch.

What an amazing trip! A good balance between winter activities and down time. Managed to use the hotel sauna every afternoon which was great and super relaxing. The weather was perfect and we saw the spectacular Northern Lights 3 nights out of 5. When we didn’t see them, we just didn’t go out to look for them :) The food in Finland is delicious and the local guides, restaurant and hotel staff are very helpful, kind and caring. Highly recommend this trip! Thank you, Explore, for organizing such a fab adventure!

Really enjoyed Tavira and its culture, cuisine, the hotel and people. Holiday was fun - a nice, mixed group of 16 people. Great walks every day which were varied and included salt pans & flamingos, hills and olive, carob, almond and orange groves, through beautiful countryside and stopping for refreshments/lunch/ or to eat our picnic. Fascinating seaside town with fish markets and beautiful houses, and a very easy - going good guide.

Russell was an excellent guide-lots in insider knowledge since he was a local. Tour was not rushed , enough time to explore the areas we stopped at. Truly is a backroads experience. Food was good. Most hotels were great. Cons: Lack of info to assist in travelling from the airport to the hotel. I would request more specific infomation. IE take this train etc. This would make a more full service company. People traveling overseas for the first time would have difficulty arranging and finding suitable (SAFE) transport. This con was agreed upon by many on my trip. Hotel - Merchant Manor- disappointing at best . 20 minutes to get scrambled eggs when I was the only one in restaurant. But more important was the slippery (waiting for an accident to happen) pool area. WOW-this was scary!!! Also- they had 3 jacuzzis- not one was working. Would suggest there better hotels. Loved the Carlyon Hotel - pool are lovely and not slippery!
