Dont let the glass and steel skyscrapers deceive you. At its heart, Frankfurts high-powered business hub communes with a warm medieval centre where half-timbered buildings and tiny taverns line cobbled lanes and the aroma of apple cider lingers around every turn. Here Mainhattan meets medieval charm. This afternoon, your Travel Director will lead an orientation tour around the citys dynamic financial centre and medieval Rmerberg. See the Rmer, which has served as Frankfurts city hall since the 15th century and admire the architecture that has been lovingly restored after World War II.

Customer Reviews
It was a great itinerary, especially since it had a two night stop at each city. It created a relaxed atmosphere even though some of the mornings were early.
The itinerary was just where i wanted to go as i spent a day with friends in Berlin and listened to very pleasant classical music on the trip which was all good,
It was great. Love all of the medieval town squares in the towns tha we stopped in. So much history and beauty.
Travel time on the coach was long, however I found the stops in the city centre's and free time help mitigate boredom and fatigue.
This is a busy tour but there is a good amount of free time if you want to plan extra sites to visit. Usually the afternoon is free to explore on your own. A little planning before your trip is recommended. The visit to Auschwitz is truly memorable. I really enjoyed the concert in Vienna. The Budapest dinner cruise was excellent and the menu was very good.
