Great walking holiday. La Gomera is lovely. Quiet, without the crowds or traffic of Tenerife. The La Gomera hotel works well for a walking group. Good location and good breakfast (but no kettle in room). The rooms have a fridge and there’s a supermarket almost next door for getting your lunchtime picnic (bring a knife). Local restaurants and bars were good. We had a group meal on most but not all evenings. On the free nights some people teamed up. Our guide Rocio was great. On the free day we took a bus and did a walk back into town. Lovely view of Mt Teide on Tenerife. The Mt Teide walk on Tenerife was shorter but good for the last day. Our group were apparently fast walkers and everyone kept up. Thanks Explore a good trip and good weather too.

You packed a lot of beautiful, historic sites into our 11 day trip. The Vatican museums, the coliseum, the monastery, dinner at the castle, Perugia at night, Venice and more. Trip was amazing. Julio and Andre were a great team. And going off-season might have been cool weather but no crowds made it the best time.

He really went the extra mile taking us to restaurants, to see hallooumi being made and to see his orchard. All in all a really wonderful holiday.

Amazing trip. Tour guide was so knowledgeable and shared extra history about each place we visited. Made each tour much more interesting. He was an excellent guide! Accommodations were very nice and I so appreciated the luggage delivery and pick up for each stop. Certainly made traveling so much easier and I felt spoiled by such attention to detail. Was a wonderful experience. Would liked to have visited the Amalfi Coast region as well, but I certainly recommend this tour for a good overview of Italy.
