The tour guide was very friendly and engaged. The itinerary was very good although i would have liked to have stopped at St. Andrews. I did enjoy all the stops along the trip. The Castle in Inverness should be added as an included stop. The Castles renovation was amazingly completed. The final stop in Endinburgh was all I expected and more. The season was perfect.

TMB camping was the 4th and the most challanging long distance hike since my retirement. We were with 12 fellow hikers (me: the only continental person and the oldest female) aged 18-76, guided by Tim, the best guide I ever hiked with and taken care of by Alberto, a hard working chef kook and we had an unlimited fun!

most memorable experience was taking a train (on our own) to see a lighthouse. On our return trip, an Irish couple (about our same age) asked if they could sit with us. That impromptu event gave us about 30 minutes of extreme pleasure, having that couple ask to join us (complete strangers). Our conversation gave both couples plenty of information on each other. An Exceptional Tour Experience Our trip was absolutely outstanding. Our guide, was exceptional — his deep knowledge of European history and the passion he brought to his storytelling enriched every destination we visited.
