Croatia Cultural, religious historic sites Trips

A trip which included historical sites, beautiful landscapes and wildlife opportunities. There were many highlights, and a couple of downsides. Because we visited Sarajevo on Sunday afternoon and Monday many of the museums and sights were closed, so a fascinating city was partly unexplored. While we were aware that lifts would not be available, we didn’t know just how many places had many many steps, in particular the Küstendorff resort. But a very enjoyable trip. Already considering the next one

A very varied trip, including time in historic towns like Kotor and Sarajevo, time in the countryside, walks, boat trips and even a narrow gauge railway trip. The roads are good so although it looks like a lot of travel, it was easy going. Two things to note: take seriously the warning about no lifts in hotels. This proved to be true and many of them have lots of steps up and down! Also, it can be very cold up in the mountains in late Sept/Oct while still hot and sunny on the coast so bring clothes for all seasons.

It was a full and interesting itinerary, but also with enough leisure that it remained a vacation. Our guide and driver were fantastic and were a large part of the positive experience.

It was a nice balance between planned activities/excursions and opportunity for personal exploration and free time. The timing at each locale was sufficient to take in what each site had to offer and the cities provided enough variety in history, architecture and activities to seem unique and not redundant in nature.

This is a very nice pace for touring and seeing Croatia ! I loved the hotels we stayed at and really felt like it was a high end tour all around !

Fun and wonderful trip with great accommodations. Our guide Dani was fun, energetic and full of knowledge. Our coach driver Paolo made you feel safe and comfortable. A very pleasant person. Lots of history and beautiful locations. Lots of 2 day stay overs to slow the pace down to enjoy and relax. I would highly recommend this trip.
