Good cross section of optional tours. Small group was great. Amount of time spent travelling in the bus each day was just right. Comfort and hygience of bus excellent. Could have easily done with another day in Dubrovnik as a marathon was on one morning and another morning a race around the wall was on. Both mornings we could not go into the town as it was blocked of and buses were not running. We did have optional tours on but if you did not want to do them alas you could not go into town and had to stay at the hotel.

There was a good mix of cities, islands and rural regions to see. I particularly loved the islands of Korcula and Hvar, the Plitvice lakes, Postojna caves, the seaside town of Opatija and the day we spent in Kotor in Montenegro. As well, there were wonderful experiences at night when we attended some of the Konobas (authentic Croatian dinners). They were all different and interesting to talk to the hosts and their families. We also visited some wineries and the wine was good. We also sampled the Rakija, a Croatian brew that burnt the throat in its pure (medicinal?) form, but was very drinkable when cherry or other flavours were added. I loved the whole tour!

Great locations and hotels with breakfasts were all very good to excellent. Tour director was excellent: informative, organized, and personable, and a great photographer as well! Have traveled via multiple venues and for land tours with Tauck, Ritz, Gate 1, Globus and Cosmos, this one with Trafalgar is tops for the money.

The country roads tours are always so wonderful with the stays at most hotels of 2 nights. This trip touched so many highlighs in Croatia. Each day just got better. The beauty of the nature of Croatia with the Plitvice Lakes along with the wonder of the history of the country was just beautiful. Including the islands of Hvar and Korcula was such a highlight as well. Then to end in Dubrovnik where history and wonder combined and you can just wander the walls and the city in awe is wonderful.

Yes. Our tour was terrific! Our tour director, Tod, and driver, Dario were excellent! Tod made the tour so memorable and gave some history about Croatia and it's neighboring countries. Tod and Dario made sure our trip was seamless when it comes to our luggages, destinations, departures, and arrivals from one place to another. I highly recommend this tour of a lifetime. I wish our tour was longer.

Great itinerary, nice pace with time to explore on your own. Tour guide and local experts were top notch. I would exclude the Montenegro excursion due to the time lost at border crossings, going and coming.
