Croatia Customized Tours and Trips

Hi, my name is Roberto. I was born in Croatia in Dubrovnik and spent my early years in the countryside of Pelješac peninsula. I believe that being in nature from an early age fostered my love of nature and exploring. Now, when I think about my school days and my wild escapes into nature, I am glad there was no mobile phone back then, so my mum didn’t know that I was I climbing on rocks or trees, sneaking into caves, biking where you would not even go with a tractor, kayaking in the open sea…etc. As a parent, I think I would freak out if I knew my son was doing those same things. Or perhaps I was just braver as a kid than now! Sport and music were always a big part of my life. I played soccer all through school and wanted to be a successful player, but many injuries, unfortunately, stopped me on my way. At the point when I realized I would not go any further with soccer actually set the path for my future decisions in my life. I decided to study law (and later I added mechanical engineering) in Zagreb. While studying, I joined a university rowing team, as my leg injury meant I could not play soccer. During one of the trainings, one of my friends asked me would I like to do some rafting. I needed a summer job, so I said yes. Soon, it became my full-time job. Then, after years of working in tourism, at one point I decided that the time had come for me to take control of my future and open my own, family-owned travel company. We put all of our knowledge and passion into it!

As a child, I spent a lot of time being active in nature not far from where we lived in Croatia. My parents often took me hiking, and this is how I learned to enjoy the little things and to respect and preserve our Mother Nature. After school, I worked in an agency that organized school trips within Croatia, and as a guide, I visited almost every corner of my country. Over time, my love for nature and animals only increased, and caring for the environment became an essential part of my nature trips. I love spending time outdoors and spend most of my free time wandering and exploring around, in the company of family, friends, and two dogs. Life is simple, and the simplicity of life is the key to its quality and overall happiness. I want to share that with our clients. It's beautiful everywhere, you just have to see it.

I grew up in Rome, Italy, surrounded by the culture and history of the Mediterranean. From an early age I developed a deep connection with the sea, which eventually led me to build my career around sailing and travel in the Adriatic region. For more than a decade I have been working in yacht charter and experiential travel, specializing in sailing holidays in Croatia and Montenegro. Over the years I have helped travelers from all over the world discover this region by sea — from the islands of Dalmatia to the spectacular Bay of Kotor. Sailing allows visitors to experience the Adriatic very differently from traditional tourism, reaching hidden coves, small historic towns, and beautiful islands that are often inaccessible by land. What motivates me most is designing journeys that are tailored to each traveler. Some guests are looking for a relaxed island-hopping sailing holiday with family or friends, while others want a more immersive experience that combines sailing, culture, local cuisine, and the natural beauty of the coastline. The Adriatic is one of the most remarkable sailing regions in the world, and I am passionate about helping travelers experience it in a way that feels effortless, personal, and memorable.
