Nela - calm, aware, clear, caring, an excellent leader and good company. Bozo - as we nicknamed him, an excellent mechanic, our bikes always ready for us, any problems sorted, always punctual and attentive and good fun. A well balanced itinerary, allowing for those who wanted a bit more. I should have booked the extra day as alas we didn't get to explore Dubrovnick old city. Thank you for another very special explore. Sue

As I often find on my Trafalgar tours there are several optional experiences that I feel should have been part of the fixed itinerary. The optional Opatija Dinner on day four was nice but not really all that inspiring. Over priced in my opinion.

The itinerary couldn't be more perfect! Lots of walking, so I would really stress bringing good, comfortable walking shoes and preferably non-skid. It rained on us in Trogir and Split; however, troopers that we were, we kept on going! The cobblestone surfaces were slippery and had water puddles--but we made it through without anyone getting hurt. The places that our Travel Director and driver took us were all beautiful and scenic. Breathtaking, as they say! All the views were Instagram materials. Trafalgar took us to the best of the best places. I recommend you sign up for all the Optional Experiences; you will not be disappointed. You don't want to miss out on any of them! All of the local specialists were awesome and very knowledgeable. The success of trips like these depends on 3 things: an excellent Travel Director and driver, the itinerary and the good vibes you feel with your fellow travelers. I was very blessed to have these 3 during this trip to Croatia and Slovenia. My Travel Director redeemed my faith in Trafalgar Tours after a "not so good" experience with the TD from the last trip I took to the Balkans. Thank you for such a memorable holiday!

It was an excellent itinerary. We loved Lake Bled, the ruins of Pula, the hike through Plitvice, the train and walk through the caves of Postonja, and walking the medival wall in Dubrovnik. We took all but one of the optional excursions (we wanted to make sure we had time to walk the path around Lake Bled and play mini golf) and they were all fabulous. We especially enjoyed the dinner sunset cruise on the Adriatic coast, the Lake Bled and castle exploration and the tour of Cavtat with the Konavle winery discovery. Our tour guide was excellent. We learned so much about the history of Yugoslavia, Croatia and Slovenia. Would highly recommend this tour. It was our very first bus tour and we would definitely do it again!

The itinerary is close to perfect. I think it was our best European trip to date! It's wonderful to go from historic town to town, since they are all beautiful in their own way, but because we did so many different things, like exploring the caves and walking in the Plitvice national park and visiting the arena in Pula; it was a great balance.

An enjoyable tour of many beautiful and interesting places in Slovenia and Croatia. Amazing tour director and driver . My highlights were 1/ Lake Bled and the optional alpine tour of Lake Bohinj -absolutely gorgeous. 2/ Opatija, Pula and Rovinj on the Istrian peninsular of Croatia - wonderful variety. 3/ beautiful drive along the coast between Split and Dubrovnik and visiting Cavtat( so peaceful) 4/ fantastic day trip to Hvar Island -lovely towns and views from the old road. Amazing taking the bus onto the ferry 5/ great tour guides in all the towns and cities. 6/ great food selections with amazing breakfasts
