The pace of the tour is pretty good but lunch breaks need to be revised early on in the trip. Road side gas stations are rarely ever suitable when a plaza with literally hundreds of venues are available before moving to next local. (Zagreb and Ljubljana) Be sure that when there are back to back excursions, travelers have an opportunity to get a bagged lunch or time is allotted for a quick lunch between events. (Lake Bled) We were often not sure when there would be lunch places available until after we were on the move to the site of exploration. (Postojna Caves)
As far as the overall pace, it was good however maybe three days in one place or all places... two days. I am sure most of us would have loved to have two full weeks of travelling instead of eleven days.

The Best of Croatia and Slovenia itinerary across these two beautiful countries included a good collection of historical locations, geographically unique locations, beautiful vistas, inland cities, lakeside resort areas, and coastline towns with historically important harbors. The itinerary was well paced with rich experiences, and the hotel accomodations were pleasant and often enhanced the local experience. I would strongly recommend tour to anyone.
