Croatia Walking Trips

Got to see some beautiful cities, lakes and the ocean. Made some stops in tiny cities I would have never seen otherwise! The Budapest to Croatia leg of the trip doesn’t have too many long drives, the longest was 4-5 hours but the average long trip was 2 hours or so, very manageable. Great opportunities for free time and exploring if you want to break apart from the group for a few hours

This was a most excellent tour, both in terms of the itinerary which took us to a variety of gorgeous outdoor settings (including a gorge!) and in terms of its leadership by a Croatian guide. Our tour guide, Ivo, was exceptional. He was friendly, knowledgeable, safety-conscious and sensitive to the local communities and natural environments through which we traveled. He was very patient and empathetic to the needs of our diverse group of tourists, while fostering a sense of community among us throughout the tour. I would highly recommend this tour!

The walking tour in Croatia was good. The itinerary was well planned and accommodation was good at all the places . Igo the trip leader was very considerate of Everyone’s needs and he shared his extensive knowledge of local fauna and the plants during every hike. Having a Croatian as the tour leader was a bonus .Igo’s knowledge of the trails we were on and the local Croatian cuisine and culture was very helpful . Some of the hikes in the beginning were on the lighter side which was fine to start with to get conditioned to the weather and local conditions. All in all a very enjoyable and good trip.

Basic tour was good, and the optionals, well, I did them all, were extraordinary. I loved being a guest in someone’s home in Sarajevo. The scenery was so amazing as we travelled through different regions. I thoroughly enjoyed the three cruises, the boats were clean, crews were exceptional.

This was a good trip which really introduced us to the different range of locations in the beautiful country of Croatia. The walks were varied, and where necessary adjustments were made to suit the climate and crowds. Our free day was spent in the charming town of Zadar which started with a very informative guided tour. The accomodation was comfortable and the rooms sufficiently spacious that when being occupied on a twin share basis with a stranger, did not feel cramped. The tour leader was knowledgable and very sensitive to the varied group needs - excellent.

Our trip manager was super knowledgable and helped make the best of our time in each location! There is a lot of driving on this tour, but it was totally worth it for all of the history and amazing experiences we shared.
