Honest insights from past guests on our Bicycle Croatia tours

Nela - calm, aware, clear, caring, an excellent leader and good company. Bozo - as we nicknamed him, an excellent mechanic, our bikes always ready for us, any problems sorted, always punctual and attentive and good fun. A well balanced itinerary, allowing for those who wanted a bit more. I should have booked the extra day as alas we didn't get to explore Dubrovnick old city. Thank you for another very special explore. Sue

Our leader Nela was exceptional. Responsible , caring and proactive. It rained one day and she and Bozo the mechanic researched alternative rides for us when the planned route would have been dangerous. High praise for Bozo too who cared for us and our bikes to the highest standard.

The trip was a well planned and executed family orientated holiday. I feel that two "On Board" guides was unnecessary - the shore guides were excellent and added good value.

Loved this trip. Dalmatian Coast exceeded my expectations - beautiful. The tour leader, David and driver/support, Boja were great, and had safety at the forefront of their minds. They were fun, engaging and made a huge effort to ensure that we were all enjoying ourselves, and doing what we wanted to do and had what we needed. Nothing was over-egged. It all struck the right balance for me. I liked the fact that David allowed the group to make their own decisions in terms of frequency of group meals, levels of tipping etc. Cycling at times was tough, but if you have a decent level of stamina and fitness, then should be OK. If in doubt, just opt for an e-bike and then no problem in getting up those hills. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this trip - one of my favourites actually and very lucky with the Group - everyone was great and all from different countries. Huge fun - thank you David, Boja and everyone on this trip.

David and his assistant Borsh were fabulous. Very safety conscious, extreme temperature meant plenty of water stops. Both had a lovely sense of humour and joined in group meals. Thoroughly enjoyed our cycle tour.

David did a great job on leading us on a great ride experience and also bringing the group together for unique coffee break, lunch and dinner experiences. There was decent challenge in some of the the rides that pushed us all. Great times. Bosha was super helpful with snacks, water breaks, and supporting mechanical needs.

Travel Tips for Biking Tours in Croatia

  • Always make sure to bring enough water with you on your Croatia bike tour.
  • Make sure to wear high-vis clothes so that drivers can easily spot you from a distance.
  • Do not wear earphones while cycling and always be aware of your surroundings.
  • Wear a helmet to protect yourself in case of an accident.
