Honest insights from past guests on our Beach Croatia tours

Excellent

Wonderful sailing trip, with like minded guests sharing great experiences, led by an excellent skipper/CEO who used his local experience to provide great dining, information about Montenegro including history and customs. With my group, I would have been happy to do an extra week up to Split. Loved every minute

Exciting, exhilirating, sooo much history....we had fun and made some really good lifetime friends. We are the type to be up for early breakfast and 'go go go' all day to return after a late supper feeling exhausted but happy. Thank you G.

Very interesting history and beautiful landscapes and architecture. I am not a good historian, so it was helpful and impactful to hear from locals that have lived through the difficult times that have occurred (Bosnian war for one). This type of tour is made that much more enjoyable having a local guide. I know that I would not have come away with the same experience had I just travelled on my own.

We all had an unforgettable trip. We were lucky with great weather but either way every day was an absolute blast, and I really want to reiterate how great Marko was - it wouldn’t have been the same without him.

The Montenegro sailing tour is the perfect way to explore a stunning coastline. A relaxed itinerary lets you explore old, cobbled streets and dine in special eateries where locals gather to share food and swap stories. A beautiful country and expertly guided by our CEO Marko - a perfect option for anyone who likes history and wants to watch the world go by.

My experience was absolutely exceptional! great food, amazing people, the best guide (Nikos), and i could not have had a better solo travelling experience! I sliced my foot in ios and had to get 5 stitches and my ceo took over and i did not have to worry about transportation or anything and she helped make sure i was comfortable and not in pain. I cannot say enough about nikos, that is a man who loves what he does and has passion for it, it is so obvious and it spreads into his groups! The other travellers were so kind and i met 3 lifelong friends there who we will be meeting up again soon and planning to book another gadventure your. so grateful for my time, made me want to travel more!

Travel Tips for Beaches in Croatia

  • The best time to visit Croatia for beach tours is during the summer, from June to September, when you can enjoy long, sunny days, hot temperatures, and a vibrant atmosphere. However, keep in mind that July and August are peak tourist months, so if you prefer a more relaxed experience, consider June or September.
  • Croatia's coastline is sprinkled with numerous islands, each offering a unique beach experience. Consider island hopping to discover secluded coves, hidden beaches, and the diverse charm of different regions. Ferries and catamarans make island-hopping adventures accessible and enjoyable.
  • Many beaches in Croatia feature pebbles rather than sand, so it's advisable to bring water shoes or sturdy sandals. This makes walking on the little stones more comfortable and protects your feet when exploring rocky coves and sea caves.
  • Croatia has a long-standing tradition of naturism, and there are designated nudist beaches. If you choose to visit these areas, be mindful of naturist etiquette and respect the preferences of others. Always check if the beach is officially designated for nude sunbathing.
