Croatia Tours in April 2026

This trip was exactly what I needed. After years of family holidays and work trips, doing something like this — just me, my wife, a car, and no daily schedule, felt like a throwback to how we used to travel. The best part? We weren’t herded around or stuck waiting for a big group. We just got in the car and drove. Some days we were super active, other days we just wandered and sat in cafes. Croatia’s charm is obvious, but Slovenia really caught us off guard. The nature is pristine, the towns feel like no less than a fairytale, and even the touristy places don’t feel overwhelming. Also, it’s worth saying the roads were great, parking wasn’t a nightmare, and the car rental process was straightforward. That stuff matters when you’re not 25 anymore. If you want a bit of culture, nature, good food, and a proper break from the usual routine this is your tour. We’re already talking about doing another self-drive next year. Portugal, maybe?

Absolutely incredible! My recent trip to Croatia with Intro Travel was nothing short of spectacular. From start to finish, everything was perfectly organized and executed. Very fast paced. Unfortunately, we arrived at some destinations at night, so sight seeing/picture taking was limited. All hotels, with the exception of the one in Greece, were very good. The one in Greece smelled very bad, had no shower head, I had to go down to the reception to request light bulbs. Bus was very comfortable, sights were wonderful. Rumi, the tour guide is amazing. She made the trip. Overall, wonderful experience

Thank you Expat Explore for all your efforts, time and the length you have gone to make this trip a memorable one. Everything, from the meals, included and optional excursions and the hotels was just spot on. But the greatest asset was Porfiro (Firo), the tour guide. He made everyone included, whether be children, the shy or the elderly, overcame every challenge that came our way, possessed a brilliant sense of humour, full of energy, motivated us all when we needed it and always had positive outtake on everything. We couldn't ask for someone more perfect  than him. Went beyond our expectations to bring a smile on our face. What was even wonderful was the bond between Alex, the driver, and Firo. Alex always made sure the coach was clean and spotless. But the impeccable driving skills always stunned us all and everyone always felt safe and comfortable. Went the extra mile for our comfort. Had an absolute blast. Firo was alot of fun very organised and flexible. Getting us safely to our destinations on time and moving heaven and earth to find a solution when something didn't go as planned. Alex was an amazing driver. Getting us across Europe hassle free. His fun loving personality made him an enjoyable companion. Got us country to country hassle free, saw lots of amazing sites, ate some great food and had a cozy hotel room to rest in at the end of each night. Firo even took it upon himself to organise for tge wait staff in Zagreb to bring me out a birthday cake during dinner. Thanks Firo and Alex for making my trio across Europe so special.
