Wonderful tour, special thanks to our tour director, who went over and above to ensure that everything ran smoothly. Friendly group of fellow travelers which made the holiday even more enjoyable. Great itinerary complimented by the optional extra tours.

We enjoyed our trip…. It was a very good itinerary as it helped us see so many amazing places in 10 days… *personal info removed by Feefo* our tour director was amazing ….

Great itinerary. *personal info removed by Feefo* is a FANTASTIC tour director!! and *personal info removed by Feefo* is an amazingly good driver. We chose this tour over other companies' tours because of the stay at Lake Bled - we did not want to just have a quick half-day visit - and we are so happy that we made this decision. Lake Bled is a beautiful place to have two nights stay. The places visited were all wonderful and beautiful. Most of the local tour guides were not only knowledgeable and informative, they were also lovely people and quite humorous. Having four 2 night stays is wonderful. Hotels were all comfortable and well equipped. The optional extras were very good on the whole however they are VERY expensive, especially as the tour already is costly and so if we did another Trafalgar tour we would think very seriously about paying for extras. We probably would have enjoyed the tour almost as much without the optional extras and saved ourselves a significant amount of money. Most 'extras' that we did ( and we only omitted the Slovenian village experience), were very enjoyable but the Opatija dinner and the traditional Konoba dinner in Split were not really worth the cost. The Cavtat visit with the Konavle winery was terrific! *personal info removed by Feefo* was so organised, professional, knowledgeable, informative and approachable and just a lot of fun to have as our 'leader'. He made the tour better than we hoped it would be. He knew how to make our days as enjoyable as we could possibly want and answered every question from all participants. He showed a lot of patience and understanding with guests who may have irritated other tour directors. His 'local knowledge' was priceless and added so much to our experience. *personal info removed by Feefo* was definitely an added bonus to our tour.

The itinerary was excellent. Slovenia for a few days is a nice surprise. The country was welcoming and picturesque. The stops like Pula, Rovinj, and Opatija were nice cities with fewer tourists as the main locations (Split & Dubrovink). Most of the optional excursions were worth the cost. The only exception was the Kvarner Bay dinner. I would opt out of that one next time. What made the tour exceptional was our tour guide . He went above and beyond to make sure the trip ran smoothly. He was well organized and professional. His personality added great interest when sharing history and stories of the two counties. He definitely has a love and passion for what he does. This tour was well paced and we saw so much during the time frame. I would go again!

The Balkans are an incredible experience. In places where tourism is only new this trip is an absolute adventure! So many beautiful sights, and beautiful people to share it with!

Emran F. | Traveled in August

The best of the Balkans tour was amazing. In two weeks I got to see and experience a lot of great sights, cuisines and cultures. My tour manager and driver and were amazing, the energy and positive vibes from them was incredible. All the countries we got to visit had their own unique atmosphere and appeal. If there’s a suggestion I could make for future tours. Perhaps an expansion/alteration on the Albania and Montenegro portion of the trip. Overall, I’d recommend this tour highly for anyone interested in exploring the Balkans for the first time. A terrific experience, through and through.
