day 2 - Cycle on Vis Island, overnight Island of Korcula (32km/20mi)

Vis is the furthermost island from mainland Croatia. A Greek colony called Issa has been on the island 2,300 years ago. Due to its strategic location it was a military zone until 1995 and prohibited for foreign tourists. Today we have the opportunity to explore the lovely island by bicycle. After cycling the boat takes us to the Island of Korcula. Overnight stay in Vela Luka.

Meals:Breakfast and Lunch

day 3 - Cycle Korcula Island (60km/37.5mi)

Today we discover the island of Korcula by bicycle and enjoy our lunch break in one of the local restaurants. The calmness and remoteness, the vast vegetation and cypress gardens have given shape to probably the most beautiful Dalmatian island. Our cycle tour leads us via the village of Blato, like Rome build on seven hills, along a pass across Pupnat bay and finally to Korcula town, where we have time to take a walk through the wonderful old town with its narrow “fishbone like” alleys. We stay overnight in Korcula town.

Meals:Breakfast and Lunch

day 4 - Cruise to Hvar and cycle to Stari Grad (20km/12.5 mi.)

In the morning the boat cruises to the island of Hvar while we enjoy our breakfast. Before arriving at the island Capital we have time for a swim from the boat and a relaxed lunch at anchor. Once on land we have time to soak in the atmosphere of the magnificent Renaissance Square of Hvar town and enjoy the view up to the Spanish Fortress situated high above the city. Our ride takes us from the city of Hvar to the most beautiful view points on the island and past fragrant wild lavender fields to the town of Stari Grad. Stari Grad is the second largest settlement on the Island of Hvar and well known for its protective harbour and beautiful stone facades. The night is spent here.

Meals:Breakfast and Dinner

day 5 - Morning cruise then cycle the Island of Brac from Milna to Postira (30km/18mi)

In the morning we cruise to the island of Brac, famous for its radiant, precious limestone that was used in part for the White House in Washington as well as for the construction of the German Reichstag building in Berlin. Once on Brac, we start our bike tour from Milna. Throughout our tour today will be rewarded with fantastic views over the neighboring islands before descending to the harbor of Postira. Here we can enjoy a relaxing afternoon with time to swim and a quite evening in this sleepy seaside town.

Meals:Breakfast and Lunch

day 6 - Cruise to Omis with optional rafting Cetina Canyon, cruise to Split (44km/27mi)

During breakfast the boat brings us to Omiš. Today you have the choice either to take a bus transfer to go rafting through the Cetina Canyon (not included in the tour price) or to enjoy a bike tour around Omiš. The bike tour takes you once around the outskirts of the canyon with great views over the river and back down towards the sea. The rafting group will be picked up from the boat by a bus and are taken to Omiš for the excursion. From here they will follow the river downstream in the rafts gaining a unique perspective of the canyon and its flora and fauna. Participants of the rafting trip return by bus to the boat. In the afternoon we cruise to Split, where we spend the night, and participate in a guided city tour in the evening.

Meals:Breakfast

day 7 - Cycle from Rogac on Šolta, return to Trogir (20km/12.5mi)

After crossing over to Rogac on the island of Šolta, our last cycle stage commences. Walled fields, numerous olive groves, locust bean and fig trees line the roads and the herbaceous smells of lavender and rosemary will accompany us along the way. Our boat awaits us in Rogac and we can enjoy our last crossing back to Trogir where, if time permits, we can take a tour of the old town which is a World Heritage site. The last evening aboard includes a farewell dinner where you will have the chance for a last get-together with your crew and guides.

Meals:Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner

day 8 - Trip concludes in Trogir (close to Split)

Disembark after breakfast by 9.00am and individual departure, or a taxi transfer can be booked on request for an additional cost from the boat to Split airport or hotel.

The medieval city of Trogir has an almost museum-like character and is certainly a city not to be missed when travelling through Croatia. Its charm is largely thanks to its wonderfully preserved old town, which covers an entire peninsula and is UNESCO World Heritage listed. Trogir is a city perfect to stroll and explore, with many small alleyways which periodically open onto spectacular squares. It is also an ideal point to take excursions to the surrounding areas, such as the neighbouring city of Split. We would be happy to arrange additional nights in Trogir before or after your trip, please ask our consultants.
