The trip was fast paced, hit many of the highlights, had a wonderful travel director and driver. My gluten free diet was accommodated for with no issues. I loved travelling by bus, boat, funicular, train, etc.

AnonymousOn Sep 28, 2025

Every venue exceeded my expectations! Our guide (Caroline) was excellent! Fun, energetic, knowledgeable, sincere and supportive. I felt as though she’d been a lifelong friend.

AnonymousOn Sep 26, 2025

Loved the places we got to visit. It was a very busy and fast paced itinerary. The travel host was very knowledgeable and caring . We loved ! The hotels for the most part were very nice and comfortable. The breakfast was good, but we were always in a hurry to get going so never had that much time to relax and eat. The extra excursions were amazing, especially the dinners.

AnonymousOn Sep 26, 2025

It was an exhausting, but wonderful trip. We saw so much of Italy in a relatively short period of time. We knew we would probably never have a chance to visit Italy again, so for us this was the perfect trip. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and entertaining.

AnonymousOn Sep 25, 2025

Very fast paced tour of Italy! Our tour director was excellent at arranging tickets, tour guides and transportation. No lines to wait for anything. Group meals were very average.

AnonymousOn Sep 25, 2025

Great side trips, our tour guide was amazing and so knowledgeable and we Met some incredible people!

Stewart S.On Sep 25, 2025

To fast, no rest, over priced, to many optional meals and side trips that was extra cost, too much walking, tour guides don't know how to use mikes, will not use insights for any vacations. Worst vacation I ever had. It is suppose to be a vacation not a military drill. The meals were terrible. The hotel rooms was not great.

Becky S.On Sep 25, 2025

This trip package is action packed and allows you to experience so much without it being overwhelming! M9st all of the walking is at a leisurely pace too, making it doable for nearly everyone. Definitely plan to do ALL the optional excursions, they are so worth it!

Ronald N.On Sep 25, 2025

There's just too much activity jammed into the 11 days and not enough free time to explore on a more leisure pace. We were exhausted and fatigued by the end of the trip. Yes, you get to see parts of northern and southern Italy, but we didn't really get to feel the cultural difference. You would miss a lot if you didn't opt for all the "optional" experiences. That adds quite a bit of extra cost for the trip.

Rhonda R.On Sep 25, 2025

Our tour guide, was excellent. She was knowledgeable, organized, and helpful. The tour has a full agenda. We thought it was great!

AnonymousOn Sep 25, 2025

Pompeii was a waste of time. I was there 10 years ago and saw more. It was a quickie tour that didn't show the best parts. Pompeii was the main reason why we chose this trip because we knew there were a lot of new areas uncovered. Very disappointing.

Absolutely a fabulous itinerary with beautiful hotels, great food, wonderful guides and drivers, through a tremendous country with so much to do, see and learn. Highly recommend this company and this trip.

Karen C.On Sep 17, 2025

The itinerary was great. We saw many wonderful places and sights in Italy and I definately recommend it to others. It was alot of walking and going up and down many hills so people should be prepared for that. Our tour was considered "moderate" according to Insight but to me it was a bit higher than moderate. Our tour director, was excellent. She was very knowledgeable about Italy and was a wealth of information It was an amazing trip and I highly recommend it.

It's very (very) busy with more walking than I expected; but I enjoyed it immensely.

Great itinerary! We saw so much! Absolutely breathtaking! The hotel in Rome was one thing I was disappointed in. Very antiquated. I would recommend partnering with a new hotel. our travel guide was amazing and very accommodating. Highly recommend this tour.

Amazing guide in and showed us a lot of stuff we would normally not have seen in that time frame. Very comfortable accommodation and great bus and driver. Highly recommended.

Scott B.On Aug 1, 2025

This is a very intense and fast paced program. I loved it. If you want to see a lot of Italy in short period of time this is your trip. The tour guide gave great insight and history of Italy which gave depth to my Experience of Italy. These are memories that will not fade.

Maria B.On Aug 1, 2025

Treasures of Italy incorporates a fast paced itinerary of all that is beautiful and wonderful about Italy. All our senses came alive. From seeing, touching & learning about historical buildings and events to eating and living amongst picturesque scenery of the Italian coastline. The tour director & especially the local guides were extremely knowledgeable. The hotels were comfortable with majority with pools and some with spectacular pools. We used timeout instead of going to optional dinners and all optional experiences we chose to do and included experiences from the itinerary were exceptional and special.

Debra B.On Jul 31, 2025

You see all the key highlights of Italy. Our tour guide, was great. He told us lots of interesting facts about the areas we visited plus more as we traveled on the bus. The bus driver, was amazing. This was an incredible and busy tour.

AnonymousOn Jul 31, 2025

So many beautiful places-some well known and others not commonplace but definitely worthwhile to see. It is fast paced but as a 71 year old I had no difficulty keeping up with the pace and enjoyed seeing all I could see. Cinque Terre was one of my favorite places-not somewhere I would have known about but so different and interesting. The beauty of the terraces and innovation of the people was amazing.

Teresa C.On Jul 27, 2025

Our Travel Director . was the best. She made sure my youngest had the best trip given his nut allergy. The whole trip was fantastic. This was the first time my sons and I have been out of the US together. We will never forget this experience. We hope to book another trip with Insight. We did alot of the optional experiences and they were great, but next time we might not do as many next time. We saw so much, but would have loved to experience each place a little more.

The trip was fast paced and covered a lot of Italy. It exceeded the dreams I had for the trip. I especially liked when we had local tour guides who shared their knowledge of Rome, Pompei, Venice, etc. Our tour director, was fantastic. She took excellent care of all of us while sharing her enthusiasm and insights for the places we visited. She made us feel special. I would love to take another of her tours and would sign up in a heartbeat. We made amazing memories that will last a lifetime.

Antony I.On Jul 20, 2025

all good

Stephen S.On Jul 13, 2025

The fact that the itinerary does not include the interior of the Colosseum or St. Peter's Basilica in Rome should be noted, allowing travelers to plan their pre-trip accordingly. This could also be said about things not included in Venice for people's post-trip.

Vince H.On Jul 10, 2025

The itinerary was wonderful. It gives you a real good cross-section of Italy, from the Amalfi coast in the south all the way up to Venice in the north and all the beautiful country and cities in between. This was my third time to Italy, and my first tour. I think a tour is the best way to go. So convenient and easy. No waiting in lines at the Sistine chapel. Just a great experience.

Incredible journey...."" (TG), was absolutely amazing !! "Single night" stays were a little hectic... and rushed. Consider 2-night stays at each venue, increasing the overall tour by 2-3 days.

AnonymousOn Jul 10, 2025

We covered a lot of territory and if you do all the excursions there isn’t much down time. Ferries, funiculars, trains, and water taxis all scheduled to perfection!

Alison M.On Jul 1, 2025

We had a fabulous holiday to Italy. We felt that we were able to see a great deal of the country and learn a huge amount in the 11 days of our tour. Our tour director was incredibly knowledgeable on all of the areas we visited and went above and beyond making sure everything ran to plan and everybody was comfortable and catered for. We can’t thank enough for her incredible efforts and kindness to all. What a fabulous holiday that we will remember for a lifetime!

While I enjoyed the tour very much, met some wonderful people saw some amazing sights. Had a wonderful Tour Director and Bus Driver I felt the tour was very fast paced.

Rebecca C.On Jun 20, 2025

Great variety of culture and regions in Italy. Maybe it should be called “A Taste of Italy“. We enjoyed it very much. The itinerary describes activities but maybe the pace should be emphasized . We were walking, doing an activity or riding in some form of transportation a lot. There was very little down time. I actually lost weight on vacation even though I ate a lot of good Italian food . The amount of exercise burned up those calories.

I wanted to share my positive experience with Bookmundi regarding my recent 18-day 'Zen and Scenic Japan' tour. The booking process was remarkably easy and hassle-free, which was a huge relief. The customer service team deserves special praise for their patience and polite responses to my many questions, making me feel fully supported. The tour was more affordably priced than similar ones from other companies, and the bonus program was an appreciated addition. Because of this excellent experience, Bookmundi has earned a permanent client. Thank you for such a great journey.
