We liked the holiday a lot was wonderful and the sights were interesting. For us, the holiday was too fast paced and we wouldn’t repeat the experience but we are glad we saw everything that we did.
Great tour with charming towns and some very good hotels. Lots of uphill walking which was ok for us but others would have appreciated knowing this beforehand. Tour director and driver were excellent.
Our trip more than exceeded our expectations. Our Travel Director, was gracious and knowledgeable. The local experts gave us so much information about each area. , our coach driver, maneuvered the coach through the crazy traffic in Rome with ease. The scenery was spectacular in Umbria and Tuscany. The food reminded me of my grandmother’s. The cute cities, cobblestone streets, and the basilicas—they were all perfect. We met wonderful people in our group. And we laughed a lot, especially at the dinners. We’re looking forward to our next trip to Italy with Insight.
Off the beaten path was very well covered with many hidden treasures. The last spa hotel for 3 days in the room I had had short windows and the beautiful country side was zero from my room.Smoke free room wasn’t smoke free.I was unable to sleep in the night coughing throughout.
some great local experiences and down time if wanted. Tour guide and bus driver were excellent.
