Our guide Claudia was excellent explaining details of Portugal 🇵🇹 she did awesome job help us to ensure that we are all in the right place. The food was delicious and very tasty with wine. Claudia made the trip exciting with her intelligence and creativity ! Thank You Scott
Every aspect of the tour was arranged perfectly!
There was minimal time in the more interesting places with a lot of time in boring places. I had a medical emergency that required an ER visit and even though I paid the insurance, I had zero assistance from Collette and was told if I wanted to return to the states early for proper medical attention then it would cost me an additional $6-10 thousand dollars. The tour guide was really amazing though and even accompanied me to the ER to translate.
Terrific guide (Jaoa!), great food, beautiful people, sunny and 75 daily, what more can you ask for! Collette did an excellent job with this aptly named "Sunny Portugal" tour with a wonderful itinerary and a perfect balance of inclusions and free time. We especially enjoyed the food, the cultural experiences, and beautiful accommodations and sights of Portugal! Highly recommend!
It was a stellar trip from start to finish. I highly recommend!
Fado
Sunny Portugal over delivered in every aspect. The hotels were lovely and the excursions were varied and interesting. The country is beautiful and the city of Lisbon is charming.
The trip was wonderful. We got everything we were promised and more. The trip is expensive, but worth the cost. Very well organized and the accommodations were excellent. Great trip
It was all wonderful.
While the country was beautiful ,I found the trip itself less than I expected. The city tours in many instances were not doable for me (110 steps to get to a castle and a picnic climbing down the side of a mountain ) While I understand these tours worked for most it would have been nice if an alternative tour in each case was offered. The hotels were all very nice and the meals also were nice. It would have been helpful to have a Collette employee on the bus we used when going to the airport for departure. Instead our bags were unloaded and the bus took off. No instructions given as to what terminal or entrance to use. Very confusing and somewhat overwhelming for most on the bus.
Tour guide and bus driver were amazing. Felt like first class the whole trip
The tour was outstanding. A highlight was the optional excursion of a meal and Fado show. I also like the variety of activities. I wish there had been more time in Lisbon and Cascais. The Algarve portion could be eliminated.
Sintra-would liked to have spent more time there.
A most memorable day was the beautiful picnic lunch in Monchique. We made bread and were seated at tables with delicious food and plenty of wine. Beautiful day and scenery!!!! The tour was one of the best I have taken with Collette. Much to do but time for you also.
The tour manager Claudia was so helpful informative and amazing she made the trip what it was.
Our tour director was fantastic. He is our most memorable experience.
The complete tour was most memorable! The people on the tour were great! It was a wonderful experience! Would recommend it to anyone interested in seeing Portugal! Collette provides exceptional accommodations and tour guide!
overall terrific, maybe offer masks on the bus when you know a few people are sick there was no ventilation and they contaminated alot of people!
Sailing on the Bay of Lagos in the Algarve and exploring the sandstone caves in motorboats was an amazing experience. We enjoyed a night of Fado music while tasting local cuisine.
My favorite experience was sailing in the Bay of Lagos. Our group transferred to 10 person open motor boats and toured inside the sandstone caves. It was amazing!
The tour guide (Doria) was phenomenal We visited great places and learned a lot and I loved the factories. The Villa Gayle hotels were beautiful but the tubs are very very slippery and should be addressed. The that’s from Collette along the way were great and a nice touch. I would have preferred to finish a couple of days touring midafternoon to have some downtime to rest or explore
Rui was the best. He was very knowledgeable about his country and s fantastic personality. A windrrful two week vacation
