Small Group Food & Wine Tour of Sicily

I can’t say enough good things about our experience in Sicily thanks to Mossimo and his team. Excellent, informative tour guides…Denise, Carlos, Antonio and Sem. The cooking class may have been the highlight, but all of the activities were fun and the pace of the tour, planned activities/free time mix was perfect. Will definitely recommend!

I was extremely impressed with everything surrounding the tour. This was the first tour I’ve taken after years of traveling. I enjoyed all of our guides and the knowledge they shared with us about the area we were in. The itinerary was very manageable and loved having enough time to explore on our own at each destination. The wineries we visited were beautiful and the wines were excellent.

A fun tour. The group I travelled with made quick friends. Most of the accommodations were acceptable. Taormina was a treat staying at the Splendid hotel. Marcus our guide in Palermo was exceptional. I felt the food and wine experiences were average.

Well organized tour, very good accommodation, excelent quality of tasted food including the one on markets. Cooking class led by excellent chef cook with sense of humor. Professional guides, professional drivers. There is nothing to complain about. I'll certainly come back to Sicily. One comment: please leave more time to visit Noto.

A wonderful tour with expert guides. The hotel in Palermo noisy due ghetto blasters on weekend nights and sirens, horns etc in rooms facing the square. Taormina was the highlight for me, and I will stream “The White Lotus” as soon as I can.

I enjoyed my Sicily tour so much! Most of the hotels were comfortable and the food was fantastic! Our guides were very friendly and knowledgeable. The scenery is amazing!

I had the best experience with this tour company. The tour was super fun and I don’t think I would have experienced everything without being in this tour. The tour guides were so friendly, especially Orozio, Antonio and Stefania. It was worth every penny, a trip I will remember forever ❤️

From the time we lasted until we were dropped off, the whole tour was beyond excellent. The food and wine tours were varied from small plates at different restaurants to large meals at scenic settings. We ate at a seaport and at a farm house (the setting was far from rustic), in markets, and wineries. We had a cooking class where we prepared a traditional Sicilian meal. We stayed in wonderful hotels and had terrific tour guides. The tours were fabulous but they were short enough to allow for sometime to explore on our own. I would highly recommend this well managed and well planned tour.

This was a trip worth waiting for! Planned pre-pandemic and rescheduled a couple of times but the communication with Massimo and TR team reps was supportive and very easy to work with. The food tour was great! Could have had a bit more variety of food tastings. By day 3 we had the similar menu duplicated at each stop. The wine offerings were not just sips but full glasses and so many too! Our first overnight stay was at a beautiful resort property (Hotel Ariston) Excellent accommodations. The second stay was our least favorite (Hotel Garfallo). No hot water resulting in a cold shower, the bathroom walls were moldy and there wasn’t an elevator so going up two levels of stairs with multiple bags was a bit of a challenge. Our third property was in the heart of downtown Palermo with Hotel Politema. Nice boutique style property with a wonderful breakfast. Each of our guides spoke English well. They all took the time to answer questions and provide added local history

This was a magnificent trip! Orazio and Claudio were the very best! Informative, engaging and fun to be with. Our small group was the perfect way to see the wonders of Sicily. Gambino and Pupillo wineries were stunning! And the food! The bites, nibble and treats we enjoyed were fantastic! We cannot recommend this tour enough. It was everything we imagined it would be, and more. Grazie!

Well organized. Delightful companions on this small group tour. Bright and friendly tour guides. Excellent choice of restaurants. Accommodations mostly quite nice. Transport vehicles new and first rate. Mt. Etna a gas. One disappointment: Not sufficient time in Agregento.

Antonio was absolutely fantastic and knowledgeable of LITERALLY EVERYWHERE. So entertaining. I wish they could clone him for every tour. Would suggest adding a day in Cefalu instead of Palermo.

This tour was amazing. It was a small group tour, my cousin and I decided to traveled to Sicily. The price of this tour is nothing compared to the experience. It is worth every penny! The balance between the tour and our own personal time was perfect, and everything was coordinated to the T. Absolutely amazing definitely recommend.

This trip was fantastic. The group is small, so we got to visit wonderful little shops. Everyday was well planned and offered plenty of free time. We found the organizational planning for the trip to be excellent, with great communication every day. The guides were fun and offered insights into Sicilian life. The food as well as wine were plentiful. Highly would recommend this trip.

This is a great Food and Wine tour. The first hotel we stayed in (Hotel Ariston) did not have air conditioning available at the tiime of our trip, and the room and bathroom were small, but it was centrally located and the breakfast options were great. The other two hotels we stayed in (Hotel Livingston and Hotel Politiama) were excellent. The tour guides were pleasant and helpful, and the foods and wines we tried were amazing. I would definitely recommend this tour to others. Massimo was very helpful and available to answer questions throughout the tour.

This is a wonderful tour since every location had it's own local guide who was very familiar with the city and was very informative. Our guides were Rosario, Paolo our chef, Carlos. and Denise. They were all extremely knowledgeable and encouraged questions. The group was small and the transportation excellent. We made lasting friendships with others on the tour.

The local guides on this tour were excellent. They were knowledgeable, professional and fun to be around. There was a good mix of activities well organized around wine and food offerings. The transportation was comfortable, the weather cooperative, and the cultural information shared by the guides was a welcome addition to the tour. I appreciated the free time to explore places of personal interest..

Loved this small group tour. It was a perfect balance of organized activities and free time. All the hotels were beautiful and were in great locations for walking to all the busy areas. Our guides were knowledgeable and easy going. Would highly recommend to anyone.
