The water gesture at Lourdes was amazing! Maria was a wonderful tour manager. She went above and beyond setting up tours and giving us history of each area.
The highlights of the trip were Fatima, Lourdes and Barcelona. The flight from Boston to Zurich was not very comfortable at all. The approach to solving our flight from Zurich to Portugal was disconcerting. A call was placed to the emergency number for Collette and we waited for a call back. Father Ray had to solve the issue of getting 40 people to Portugal on his own. Very stressful for both Father Ray and the rest of the pilgrims.
Wonderful guide. Poor air connections. I would recommend direct flights.
I have been on many Collette tours, and I would say, while I enjoyed this tour, there were a couple of details that were disappointing, and I found to be outside the norm for a Collette tour. First - the excellent. Collette never disappoints when it comes to the location of the accommodations. We were always within quick walking distance to the highlights of the tour - Fatima and Lourdes especially. Barcelona accommodations were in an excellent place albeit not close to the historical city. The location in Barcelona still provided us ample options for dining. The local tour guides were outstanding as they have always been. They provide color and depth to the history of each place and that is greatly appreciated. Lourdes was a majestic place, and we were provided ample time to take it all in. Unfortunately, our tour manager was not what I have come to expect with a Collette tour. While a very pleasant person, there were times she was not clear with her communication or directions which created confusion with the large group. I was disappointed in the optional tour to Lisbon. We did not have a local guide, and our tour manager was not informative in an interesting way to learn about the history of Lisbon as a local guide may have provided. It felt very much like we were just walking/driving through a large city.
Fatima was beautiful and peaceful.
Ms Rita was just amazing and the driver was great
I was very impressed with all the places we visited which were awe-inspiring and beautiful. The audience with Pope Leo was an especially wonderful and an unexpected surprise. The accommodations and food at all the hotels were very good. The only thing I did not like were the long walks to the busses in Rome especially the one from the terminal. All in all, it was a very good tour.
Memorable experience in Our Lady of Fatima and Our Lady of Lourdes bc of attending of the procession and also drink the spring water and we wash our face with a prayer,I appreciate also the beauty of the Montserrat .
I enjoyed the tour with the Our Lady of Good Counsel parishioners. The tours for Fatima, Lourdes, Barcelona and Rome were excellent. Seeing how Mother Mary affected the cities were truly amazing. I wished we had more time in Rome to leisurely stroll through St. Peter Basilica. Our tour guide Felipa was fantastic and bus driver Paulo was great. Many thanks.
Everything was well organized and excellent way of visiting these holy sites up to Rome. Rome was very different we didn't get the same excellent organization experience. The trip to Our Lady of Good counsel was cancelled the very last minute and your response to some of the reports from the pilgrims were not good. But over all the pilgrimage was excellent. God bless.
Awesome Every minute filled with something to do more assist with travel. Realize long flight. Mult connections. Got stuck in two immigration lines
Tour to Lourdes and Vatican City was amazing and satisfying
Tour to the Vatican City, Rome, Italy was amazing
The religious sites of Fatima & Lourdes were overwhelming. The daily masses in various chapels & basilicas were exceptional. The visit to the water chamber at Lourdes was the prize of the tour.
Overall, great spiritual experience. The number of pilgrims , perhaps, sh oh Le have been capped. It was a huge group which is mostly elderly. The needs are more and mobility very difficult for some. A smaller group would have been ideal. The food in some hotels esp in Lourdes will need some improvement. Overall, I got the spiritual experience I was looking for. This is my third tour with Collette and still happy. Every tour manager with you guys exceptional and also the bus driver.
Tour great I would suggest to keep busy travel separate from tours too much in one day hotel in Lourdes and arrive and food horrible rude and horrible rooms and dining room food horrible all others beautiful
Everyone on the tour was friendly, informed and organized. We had a fabulous time!
I travelled with my elderly mom. and Juan, our tour guide was exceptional in presentation and knowledge. We enjoyed the tour. Our driver, Paulo, was also an excellent driver, keeping us safe at all times.
I really enjoyed the Mass in Fatima, Burgos, Lourdes and Barcelona. It was presented in English and you can walk to al the Catherals.
