Over several days, journey from San JosĆ© to La Fortuna, where youāll hike to the iconic waterfall and swim in its crystal-clear pools. The itinerary gives you the freedom to select activities that match your interestsābe it hiking, kayaking, or delving into the world of coffee and chocolate. Enjoy gorgeous views of Arenal Volcano from your hotel and wrap up your adventure with a seamless transfer back to San JosĆ©. The tour packageās unique feature is its high degree of customization, letting you shape your journey while enjoying expert support and local insight.
day 1 - Costa Rica Arrival
Meet our representative on landing at the Juan Santamaria International Airport and transfer to your hotel in the city. The representative will explain your itinerary, answer any questions and provide you with a package with vouchers and information about the trip.
day 2 - La Fortuna Waterfall and Baldi Hot Springs
Time to head for the Arenal Volcano area. Located in the northern lowlands of Costa Rica, the impressive Arenal Volcano is a National Park that is visited by thousands and thousands of tourists due to its beauty and volcanic activity. Back in the 80Ā“s, the volcano was very active, but now it has reduced its activity and we could say that it has entered a period of calm. However, the beauty of the volcano and its surroundings are just spectacular.
The La Fortuna Waterfall is one of the best things to see when you come to the Arenal area! You will love the hike down to this waterfall located near the town of La Fortuna because you can see all the natural beauty of the rainforest as well as the birds and wildlife that live there. Once you reach the waterfall, prepare to be blown away by the beauty of this impressive waterfall! You can also swim in its pool and take pictures if you wish to!
Later, get relax in one of the best thermal water places in the area: Baldi Hot Springs Hotel. The colorful natural gardens, therapeutic waters and pure air of Baldi combines to make your dream come true. Here you will enjoy multiple thermal pools, giant waterslides, relaxing areas and much more.
Enjoy a delicious buffet lunch on reaching Baldi Hot Springs before jumping into its thermal pools. We will transfer you back to your hotel by 4:00 pm.
day 3 - La Fortuna Free day
Free time to enjoy the area of La Fortuna. Customize your vacation with the different options we can provide. Please select one. This option will be added to your final itinerary. Note: Some options are half day, others full day with lunch included.

Free time to the morning to enjoy the hotel or explore the area. After the hotel check out, there is a the transfer to San Jose. Upon arrival, hotel check in and free time.

Transfer to the International airport according to your scheduled flight. We wish you a safe flight home.
