Great tour. Great food, Great guides.

Program was wonderful but too busy. Many activities were squeezed in ( Ollantaytambo walk trough town, Inca ruins, and Machu Picchu on the same day). Another example, travel from Cusco with arrival at hotel in Lima after 3 PM followed by visit to Larco museum +dinner.

This tour was made most enjoyable by our awesome guide Harvey M. I cannot thank him enough for the Herculean efforts he put in to wrangle our 35 person group through some pretty complex transit operations whilst keeping a smile on his face. His enthusiasm and love of Peru was so heartwarming, I came away with a deeper understanding and value for this historically significant part of the world and a reverence for the Inca traditions that are alive and well here. I would recommend this tour, you are in good, caring hands with Harvey. I would have enjoyed more time in sonestas posadas, such a wonderful place, but I understand the demands of time require us to keep moving. This was a lovely introduction to this complex and charming country, we enjoyed it immensely.

Lima is the beginning and okay. Flying to Cusco and seeing the sacred valley got our experience really going. Staying at the renovated monastery was wonderful! Arriving in Machu Picchu was phenomenal, words can't express the beauty and seeing the fascinating work of the Inca people.

This was an amazing trip. Angel was an awesome guide. The local guides were excellent. Please be prepared for the high altitude, especially at Cusco. The food was wonderful and so were all the hotels.

You got a good bang for your buck as they say. We saw a lot of Peru and important sites. It was a very active trip and tiring at times due to the early mornings. Would have liked a better accommodation in Machu Picchu. Enjoyed it a lot. We met some wonderful people which added to the experience and our tour guide was very knowledgeable. They didn’t do enough to accommodate my dietary restrictions. On the day we had someone cooking for us the chef did not prepared food that I could eat and this was very disappointing and upsetting. Getting to the airport 4 hours before our departing flight was also excessive. We did appreciate though the person who accompanied us to the airport helped us to check in.

The whole trip was well-organized with worthwhile experiences. My husband and I enjoyed every moment and were happy that someone else was in charge of all the arrangements, driving, etc. We enjoyed the stories and narrative of our tour director, who seemed very knowledgeable of the history and culture of Peru. The only problem we experienced was when the flight from Lima to Cusco was cancelled and the group had to separate into 2 groups to board future flights; this messed up the itinerary and caused the 2nd group to spend many hours at the Lima airport. Other than that, the trip was wonderful!

It was my first time to do a land tour with Trafalgar and I am very delighted about how good coordination they have done for the tour. Daily activity has been coordinated thoughtfully for maximum experience, including history and culture on a personal level.

Perfect length of time. Excellent accommodations and delicious meals. Most of all amazing tour guide, Harvey.

Everyday was a wonderful adventure in and of itself!

Itinerary was excellent, a couple of tours could have been shorter. The demonstrations seemed to go on and on.

It was a bit hectic. But otherwise really enjoyed it.

All the members we encountered of the Trafalgar team were friendly, helpful and went beyond expectations on several occasions. The buses were comfortable, the tours were interesting (sometimes too in depth!) Hotels were very nice, food was plentiful and good. There was free time to explore on our own. It was a memorable trip.

The altitude at Cusco is no joke. Take precautions and take it easy. Don't be a hero. One of our group members developed altitude sickness and O2 levels dropped ot 86%.

This trip is a little more physically demanding than most other Trafalgar trips. Also, be sure to get a prescription for altitude sickness medication before you go. Walking sticks are helpful, and you can buy them cheaply after arriving.

Itinerary was very comprehensive. You're on the go alot and see many fascinating sights besides Machu Picchu. Coordination of planes, trains and busses were seamless and organized. Use of What'sApp was extremely helpful and would recommend for all trips. Tour director was amazing..very customer oriented, professional and caring.

The trip was very smooth. All the connections and handling of our luggage was taken care of. Five stars for the coordination that our guide, handled was perfect. We saw attractions that most tours would miss.

Experience was wonderful! Trafalgar did an amazing job keeping everything on schedule, even with the unexpected delays. Very prompt and professional! was an awesome guide and very knowledgeable. He definitely has a passion for what he does.

The itinerary was overall good. But some days were overcrowded especially after traveling for hours. There were times when I just wanted to go to my room and shower to change clothes for dinner. We ended up staying in the same sweaty clothes for dinner. I also strongly object to be dropped off at the airport 4+ hrs. before the flight and made to wake up at 4 am unnecessarily. Other than that the hotels were nice and the food was good but I ended up not eating fish at all in Lima, which is supposed to be a seafood town.

Wonderful trip ! Majestic scenery. Nice group. But didn’t know it involves an overnight bag packing and get up at 3am For the flight from Lima to Cusco due to visiting Sacret Valley first. Hotel in Sacret Valley need to put screen on their bathroom vent. Too many bugs in the bathroom sink and tub. We had mosquitoes in the room gotten few bites. Otherwise this trip is such wonderful experience!

The tour to Machu Picchu involves lots of climbing uneven stairs. Be prepared Peru has so much history and beauty. The people are lovely. Our guide was very organized, as were the local guides. We changed hotels frequently but nothing was lost and we made all the connections! The tour plus airfare made it pricy.

On paper, the itinerary doesn't seem to offer a whole lot of activities, however, once the trip started, I wondered hot it was possible for us to do and see so much in such a short time. This trip was one of my Bucket-list items, and it surpassed my expectations. For Anyone who is interested history and culture, this trip is a MUST. It was such a great experience to see the Inca Culture in real-time, eat their ethnic foods, mingle with them, see their dances, and mingle with them, that it was like walking back in time. The Machu Picchu site almost became a side-show to all off the other experiences that we had. People warned us about so many things to beware of, well, I can honestly say that Lima, Cusco, and Mach Picchu are among the safest places that we have been to. Yes, we were tourists, but that only meant so much to these people. They were genuinely polite, cultured, and accommodating. We love to travel. and there are still lots of places that we want to visit, but if I had to pick a place to re-visit, this certainly rank in the top-three.

Trip was fantastic, our tour director *personal info removed by Feefo* was amazing, great attention to detail, he made sure we were all accounted for and content. He is VERY knowledgeable about the region, culture and history which made the experience a better one. All the nuggets information of the rich culture and history elevated the experience. Accommodation were 5star; only feedback I have was it would have been great to stay a little longer at the hotel in the Sacred Valley. Very unique hotel and not enough time to enjoy it. This was my first solo trip and Trafalgar and *personal info removed by Feefo* exceeded my expectations! Thank you for a wonderful experience, a trip I will never forget.

The trip was amazing. We enjoyed the tour and our tour director *personal info removed by Feefo* was fantastic. The only thing I can say is that I wish I had more information before leaving for the trip. For example, I did not know that we would be leaving our luggage and taking only a days worth of essentials with us when headed to Machu Picchu. This tour is very busy, you get up early in the morning and most days do not arrive at next hotel till 8PM. This is not a relaxing trip. It is very spiritual, knowledgeable and the sights are beautiful. It was a once in a lifetime trip and I highly recommend it.

It’s a well-designed and well-paced exposition of the culture of Peru in the time of the Incas and today. The hotels and restaurants are first-rate and the tour director *personal info removed by Feefo* was experienced, knowledgeable, and fluent. Nothing could be added to make it more exciting or more delightful. Our family of four enjoyed it thoroughly.

Our guide was fantastic! All of the excursions were top-notch. I cannot say enough about how great the hotels and transportation were. I loved the tour!

Excellent tour

The itinerary certainly keeps you busy, but I want to see as much of the country as possible while there. Trafalgar’s coordination and efforts to make the trip effortless are impressive. Two inter country plane rides, two train rides, many many bus ride then a couple of transfer to vans when buses would not fit on ancient roads. It was amazing how well it worked. We had a small bump, when altitude sickness got the best of hubby. , our Trafalgar guide, was wonderful. Got us help ASAP. Hubby spent in night in a clinic but got to airport in Cusco in time to fly back with group to Lima. Thank you for keeping me informed and calm. This was my first trip with a travel group, but I can’t imagine anyone doing it better. We saw so much of beautiful Peru, participated in their culture, learned of their history, and ways of life past and present. Spent the money…..take the trip ….make the memories…

It was a nice mix of sites and activities. Pace was good. Hotels were in good areas for walking about. Leader and drivers were excellent.

The beauty of Peru is something one must see. Traveling with Trafalgar makes this possible in a safe and enjoyable manner. From the Be Our Guests experiences to wonderful excursions our trip helped us gain knowledge of the Peruvian culture and history while having fun along the way.

This was our first trip with Trafalgar. We have done tours with other companies but I will say Trafalgar takes care of you from the time you arrive at the airport until you depart. We were very pleased and will travel with Trafalgar in the future. I like structure and they are very detailed and structured with their itinerary!

To my great surprise in addition to Machu Picchu and museums, the tour included several fantastic cultural events.

The itinerary is not transparent and at the last minute the OKguide springs it on us that 4am is rising time and this happened several days We slept in until 6am several days Lots of lines,waits and people Traveling partner and myself became ill with upper respiratory illnesses contracted on the trip Have done many trips to all parts of the world with European companies and this does not favorably compare with their offerings. Most people did not attend the second day at Machu Picchu because of the hour to arise was 4 am and everyone was exhausted Long days and early mornings.Hotels were good and what meals were provided were fine

Our itinerary was great. We loved the amount of activities. Our guide was the absolute best and was very informative. The itinerary keep us moving, never a dull moment.

This itinerary was perfect for this size of group. There were so many different ages and abilities, Everyone was able to do everything as a group. I highly recommend this trip to Peru.

I have chosen Trafalgar the 2nd time around because they are “simply the best.” They are concerned about our safety from the moment we arrive until the day we depart. Safety is the number one priority for me. My experience with , our Tour Guide Director was such an extra wonderful one. Words can not express how much I admire his patience, kindness to all of us in the group. He treated us like his own family. Thirty five of us members bonded like family in such a very short period of time ( 7 days) is very knowledgeable. He knows his country, Peru, extremely well. The other local guides were also knowkedeable, polite and extremely helpful. I recommend Highlights of Peru to anyone who is planning to see a part of the world!! BTW, MachuPicchu was the main reason why I chose the Highlights of Per u abd it did not disappoint!! Looking forward to see another part of the world with the Trafalgar Tours!!!
