We had a small group and everything went well interesting places.
A Taste of the Camino is a fabulous tour in picturesque northern Portugal and Spain. It has amazing history to delve into and ancient legends in abundance. The journey across the mountains, the Picos de Europa, was stunning. It felt as though we were on top of the world.
Lovely well design holiday showing the marvellous foods, scenery & towns along the Camino
We saw beautiful places and stayed in wonderful hotels. Our guide, Guillermo, was very knowledgeable. He took especially good care of us. He even took us to get tapas and educate us on how to order. He checked every day to make sure our rooms were satisfactory. We walked on different parts of Camino. We rode to top of mountain in cable car. We dined in a cave. It was just an outstanding trip.
We really enjoyed getting off the main tourist areas to see a bit of the “real” Spain and Portugal. Learning about the history of this region and of the Camino was an added plus. We also appreciated the small group nature of the trip, something which drew us to this tour in the first place. Our guide, Guillermo, was extremely enthusiastic and his love of history and the area is apparent (also the fact that he has actually walked the Camino several times himself 👏👏).
