African Adventure

If you want to immerse youself in Africa this camping trip is an excellent way to discover this amazing continent. There's plenty of opportunities to discover its wildlife, scenery and culture. It's quite full on and does involve some long drives but these are small sacrifices compared with the benefits that such a tour offers.

Wonderful! Enjoyed the range of experiences. For a first guided tour with a group, this was amazing! Our guide, Samir, was very well suited for the job. He was knowledgeable, funny, read the group, and helpful. Our group turned out to be wonderful. We enjoyed experiencing and seeing so much of Morocco.

I loved the varied programme of places to see - green parks, ancient buildings, mosques (pity we could only go inside one mosque...but that is the Islamic tradition), mountains, lovely footpaths in oasis, markets and fine views of city. Also I like the varied places to eat - restaurants, picnic, local family houses, little cafes with rooftop views, even motorway service area, and of course the desert tent! Superb Local Moroccan Guide - polite, respectful, well connected to locals, knew the history, customs, and told us what we needed to know without being over prescriptive or too long winded. Very varied activities, food, scenery, countryside, city sights. Lovely other people (by chance) in our group.

A great variety of different things to see and do, from ancient to modern. The four cities we visited were very different experiences, the Atlas mountains were dramatic and the camel trekking in the Sahara a lifetime highlight. A great bunch of people on the trip and a good tour guide.

Extremely well-organised, with an excellent guide, who liaised with a range of local guides and restaurants to provide very smooth transitions between locations. We didn't know Morocco, and this trip provided variety between cities, smaller towns/villages, and more rural locations. The trip allowed us to see a range of places in Morocco, with very experienced guides, and comfortable accommodation, with everything very well-planned. It was good to share experiences with our group of fellow-travellers.

Amazing Morocco !

Of all 27 trips which I have done with Exodus, this one packs in the most in terms of the variety of scenery and experiences of any I have done ! There is everything from the large cities, such as Casablanca and Rabat, the medinas of Fes, and Marrakesh and Meknes, the Sahara desert camps, walking and taking camel rises over the dunes, two nights in the High Atlas with a hike in the mountains, experiencing a hammam at the local village where we stayed in the mountains, the lovely costal city of Essaouira as well as meeting local people (including lunch with a local family in their home). There are some long days travelling in the bus but there are lots of stops for coffee/lunch and to see things on the way. Seeing the variety of scenery on the way made it really worth it.
